   Not a good experience with Alex. I went there as another motorist accidentally damaged my car on a car park and was very honest and waited for me to return to my car to tell me what had happened . He arranged for the damage to be repaired at ACT Smart. The workmanship on the first attempt was shoddy , the dent clearly still visible and masses of overspray . Alex VERY reluctantly said he would re do it after asking me to pay again ( I refused ) . The result is that today I picked it up after his second attempt and its actually worse . Bubbles in paint , dent still visible and more overspray . This time Alex was very rude , said he couldn't guarantee the car would be as good as before the bump and he's done his best. If I'd known that he is less than capable of a decent repair I wouldn't have trusted my car with him. I now have to pay someone else to correct his shoddy workmanship. Avoid ACT Smart at all costs if you want a decent repair

   Had a really bad experience with the guy who runs this place his name was Alex. I sent him pictures of a bumper I needed repairing along with a bonnet and a wing. We agreed a price then was told he wanted an extra £70 on top of the price agreed. The bumper repair was done with sealer and cut down filler spreaders, colour match of paint was off and paint rough when touched and little lacquer in places. Told Alex and his reply was as follows “ Sorry to hear those remarks from you. We did our best in effort, time and labour.” No offer to put his poor work right. Please, please avoid as you will have to pay twice to put his shoddy work right.

   I cannot rate Alex & the team highly enough. I have had 2 repair jobs completed by them & both were to a very high standard. 1- Insignia bumper damage, scuff & dent which now looks like nothing ever happened! 2- Hyundai i10 small dent & rust repair is like new.
