   We were in Croydon shop today with my husband to buy sbpram and lots of other things for our little baby which will be arriving soon. At the shop today we met shop assistant Valentina ,she was amazing and very helpful obviously choosing a lots of things for our little one. Thank you Valentina.

   My wife and I visited the Croydon store to look for potential pushchairs/ carrycots. We were served by the lovely Chemayah. She was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, providing all the necessary information of three different products from different brands. Chemayah was vey patient and made us feel relaxed, allowing us time to trail and test each product to ensure we were confident with our decision. In the end she secured us a great deal on the Mamas & Papas Vardo set and we couldn’t be happier with the choice. Thank you again for all your help.

   I stopped at the Croydon branch with a voucher, an item to return, and the clear intention of buying a second car seat for my mum’s car. From the moment I set foot in the store, the experience was frustrating: • When I told the sales assistant I needed another car seat, she repeatedly questioned why—insisting it would be easier to move the existing seat between cars—despite my explaining several times that my mum will be driving my baby regularly. It felt as though she actively discouraged the sale. • At the till, the same assistant claimed my previous order still had an outstanding balance—even though those items had already been delivered. She demanded “evidence of payment” from me rather than checking the account properly. (Family and friends had used the flexible payment option on my account, something she seemed unaware of.) • The tone and questioning implied we hadn’t paid for our earlier purchases, despite our spending a significant amount with Mamas & Papas. It was unnecessary. By contrast, the Crawley branch has always treated us with genuine helpfulness—so that’s where I’ll continue to shop. After this visit, I won’t be returning to the Croydon store.

   I recently visited the Mama and Papa store today on Purley Way branch and had the pleasure of being assisted by Victoria. I wanted to take a moment to commend her exceptional service. Victoria took her time to thoroughly explain the differences between various car seats, ensuring I understood which one would best suit my daughter’s needs. She even measured my daughter’s height to confirm the perfect fit. Victoria’s knowledge and understanding were evident throughout the entire process. She was incredibly welcoming, with a friendly demeanor and facial expressions that made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. She also meticulously checked my installation of the car seat, giving me the confidence to drive off the same day with my new and improved car seat.    Awful. Staff are useless. So sad you can’t even go to a shop anymore and get help. They just stand there, no customer service at all. They know nothing about the prams! I knew more than what they were telling me! Train your staff! I really don’t know how they still have a job. It’s as if they don’t want to be there?! Got given the wrong pram I went home opened it and it was wrong? Took it back didn’t even receive a sorry!! I was late to work just because they gave me the wrong pram. Very upset about this to be honest. I really want to support shops but you may as-well but online less stressful and no rude people.

   Was in the Croydon store on Monday and may aswell been in there alone. Staff were rude and ignorant. I wanted to by a new pram but they just looked at me and never offered any help. No other customers were in the store so it’s not like they didn’t have time. I’ve bought something small and the lady at the till didn’t say hello or thank you or even look at me during the transaction. I think they all need training on how to communicate with customers let alone be sales assistants!

   Went to this store to get set up ahead of baby’s arrival. The staff were so friendly and talked me through my options for clothes, bedding, baths etc. It probably took me about two hours to get everything together and was supported the whole time with all questions answered. Wonderful service and I will definitely be back

   Went there to do a refund, made to jump through hoops to get my money back. Had to give email, phone number etc. then when that was completed which took around 7 minutes I was asked to sign the receipt whilst holding my 3 week old baby in my hands. My mother signed for me, the assistant said I still needed to sign. When I said I cannot the rude assistant carried on insisting rather than seeing that my hands were full. Then shouted “Well we’ll remember for next time!” Awful customer service in a shop dedicated to baby stuff.
