   I have been a regular customer at this shop for over five years, and until the arrival of the male employee a few months ago(maybebit more), I had never experienced any issues. At first, I thought his behaviour was directed only towards me, but it turns out that many other customers in the neighbourhood have faced the same problem. Whenever I try to pay with cash, he almost always claims that he has no change, even when I give an amount very close to the total for example £9 or £17 - using 10£,20£. Despite the till clearly having coins, he still refuses to accept cash payments. I would appreciate understanding the reason behind this behaviour. I hope the management will look into the situation and address it, as the service used to be excellent for many years.

   We had a big clear out recently and ended up accidentally donating a book here that our son had 2 chapters left to finish. Unfortunately, we have been in three days in a row now to ask politely to borrow this book back, but been given the runaround, and the staff have been rude, immature and extremely unhelpful. Such a shame as the shop would be lovely otherwise.

   Was harassed for not wearing a mask ... Questioned where's your mask? Where's your lanyard? Ended up having to explain the guidelines to the woman and showing her the government website to read through with me. Quite stressful considering I was just going to drop off some bags of clothes to donate to others.
