Sold me an illegal truck with a gutted DPF. Vehicle is unroadworthy, refund requested but refused so having to go legal. They basically stole £13k. I see others are having similar issues. These people should be ashamed. Absolutely stay away from these crooks.
Big respect to James. Saw me struggling to get my car started just around the corner from his garage and helped me out with some proper gear from his place. Didn’t have to, but he did — no fuss. You don’t see that kind of community spirit much these days. Appreciate it, James. Thanks
Absolute legend of a garage, we broke down while working in the area 200 miles from home. One quick phone call and they fitted us in and repaired our van within 2 hours, so that we could get home. The best garage in Smethwick without question!!!!
This garage is a joke. They charge you excessively and add on extra faults that are none existent. Misdiagnose and scam you. You go in with one small issue, they falsely claim you need other parts. Total shambles. Will be reporting to trading standards!
Guy who answers the phone is a mug! When I'm in the area next I'm going to personally pay him a visit. Manners need to be addressed and he seems like a guy who could do with some time away. Do not waste your time with this company there a joke!!! Don't waste your money!!!
Avoid! Bought a van from these guys for a lot of money and several months on I'm still finding things wrong with it that date back to before I bought it. Spent thousands getting it to where it ought to have been when I bought it. The guy running the place is exceptionally rude and unhelpful and impossible to reason with. Cowboys.
Excellent service from start to finish. Hassle-free purchase, VERY pleased indeed. We were looking to buy a Toyota Hilux for business and narrowed it down to a couple of options, including one from Bearwood garage. I phoned the garage and spoke to both Mark and Marcus, they were both very helpful and told me everything I needed to know with no nonsense. Being very short on time and an hour away from the garage, they offered to bring the truck down for me to see (following a sensible deposit) on the condition that if I didn't like the truck they would refund the deposit and take it away again. This suited me perfectly. The turnaround of the truck was prompt and efficient, it arrived exactly when they said it would and all freshly MOT, serviced and valeted. It match the description and was well presented so I was very happy. And the guy delivering it, Ray, is a lovely chap - friendly, professional and very easy-going. All in all I only have good things to say about these guys. I've read some of the other reviews here and can see that possibly this way of working doesn't suit everyone, however, it was absolutely perfect for us and I would have no hesitation buying from these guys again. Incidentally, if you come across a Ford Torneo Custom hybrid guys, let me know! Thank you Bearwood garage and all the team.
Excellent service. I'm a lady owner and I popped in asked for help adding antifreeze to my Peugeot 107. James whose dad owns the garage was fantastic as I had a bad experience with a garage up the road initials KF and he sorted out my problem within 5 minutes he just added the antifreeze at no extra charge but I will definitely be back for my full service and will recommend the excellent customer service and this garage to anyone. I live locally and it's nice to find honest and hard working small garages still exist and also doing such big service for the community and surrounding areas.
