    A nice pub, which is roomy both in and out, a good range on both food and drink menus. My visit was spoilt by a group of people smoking in an area clearly signed as no smoking, which was not policed by the staff effectively. This was only brought to my attention because it finally lead to a confrontational situation between the smokers and another guest, which could have turned physical quite easily. Clearly if the pub management are going to post prohibition signs, staff need to be briefed to enforce the rules, and not leave it to other guest.

    Absolutely shocking!! Has 5 dart boards, but then get told by bar staff, “ I’m sorry but you can’t play darts on the boards unless you’re on the darts team” so there’s 5 boards up on the wall doing nothing, not one person playing, not one person sat in that side of the pub, I would understand if it was to ensure the quality of the boards are looked after. But the lights they have are broken, snapped brackets and bent frames, shame really a group of 4 were planning on spending the night there, beers and food, never mind, and to top it off, one of the female bar staff, was making a joke with a regular whilst serving me and mentioned grabbing somebody’s crotch, wouldn’t of really minded but had my kids with me and then being kicked out because we were throwing darts, topped it off really

    Second time here for the Wolf Down Events street food evening. Great venue, great staff, and great vendors. If you've not been, why not? Recommend you all go but go early to the event it does get busy

    Has had a massive refurb since I last visited years ago. A fantastic outside area now, great in the summer, while inside is also well laid out and inviting. Good choice of the drinks you would expect, fast and friendly service and good value
