   A fantastic place a Traditional Sunday Lunch,we decided on the steak options which were recomended to us. The meals were presented to perfection and the additional options complemented the meal. The Tomahawk steak was unbeliveable. The whole menu has great choices and fantastic value for money

   First time visit, four of us arrived 1pm on Wednesday, plenty of tables were free. We ordered T-bone steaks, rump steak and slow cooked raised steak. The steaks were tender, the slow cooked raised steak was value for money and tasty. A pint of Guinness was £4.95. Desserts were £6.95

   Called in on Sunday without booking and got seats outside in the covered patio area as we had a dog with us. It's a lovely outside seating area. Food and service was excellent with really good quality meats and large slices of your choice. The vegetables were all fresh and cooked well with lovely thick homemade gravy. Really good value and will definitely return. Ps. Thanks to the chef for bringing a bowl of meat titbits for our dog. Much appreciated.

   We were a table of 10 out for my daughters birthday on Saturday night , the staff were lovely and really attentive. Our food order was taken and the all came together except mine which was probably an oversight but it did come before most of the group had eaten. The food was really nice and no complaints from anyone, my Katsu curry was exceptional. We did feel that we were rushed to leave because they needed the table and were busy which did spoil the night to be honest. Definitely not a France dining experience where the table is yours until you leave. Overall I would book again but on a week day hopefully where I could feel more relaxed and not rushed.
