We recently visited The Foxglove and unfortunately felt disappointed with our experience. The food was average for the price. I had a steak and my wife chose salmon as they had run out of sea bass. For the prices being charged, we felt the quality and presentation didn’t quite match the cost. We had previously signed up online for a discount offer, but when we mentioned it at the table, the staff member advised it wasn’t necessary to apply it, which left us confused. The pub was quite loud, even though there were quieter areas available, and guests were seated closely together in one section. The staff appeared very busy and under pressure, which affected the overall atmosphere. For the prices charged, we expected a more relaxing environment and a higher standard overall.

Such a beautiful pub! We have never been before despite living 5 mins away and it’s so lovely. We came when the Christmas decorations were up and they’ve done such a lovely job. Looks so classy and inviting. Staff are so lovely too and the food is great. 10/10 visit, will definitely be coming again!

Good range of pretty good food, decent atmosphere and generally excellent staff. Not only did they give me a discount when the table-ordering app didn't work (after me fiddling about with a large order for about ten minutes), but also—and significantly more importantly—they found my mother's teeth outside and hung onto them till I came to collect them the next day. That's right. Teeth. Dentures. You weren't expecting that, were you? Nobody was. They did well.

Friday the 13th. It was a good opportunity to treat mum n dad, especially with Father's day looming, so I took it, with the 30% off mains voucher £128 ended up at £112, so what's that, 37 per person? I had three pints of cider and two desserts and we all had starters and deserts. I'm not fussy regarding food, so not a good judge, but I kind of wished we hadn't prebooked, cos the table we were allocated I initially didn't like. I can't help thinking if you don't book and the place is half empty then you can sit where you like, which would have been the better option. The waitress, in the photo, had nearly no talking capacity, she was ill. To me, she shouldn't have been working, it's ridiculous, not only is it irritating, but she would be better convalesing at home than struggling to get the words out here, in a barely audible, croaky voice. Fine if you work at a computer maybe, but surely not when dealing with the public. However, despite losing a star for that, the saving grace here is the food, not cheap, I didn't think, but mum n dad, dad in particular, raved about how good it was, tasty, quick service and served hot. Given that they've tried three or four other places around the Oak Tree Lane vicinity recently and rated this above all those, some of which they didn't like and wouldn't go back to, this, quite notebly, is a place to which they would happily return, so it must at least be worth four stars, perhaps.

Lovely Sunday roast at the Foxglove but the service was a bit hit and miss. One server was very attentive and friendly and the other definitely gave off a "I hate my job and wish you weren't here" vibe, which is a shame but won't deter me from coming back. The pork is definitely tastier than the beef if you're torn. The stuffing is delicious, so was the sticky toffee pudding and accompanying ice cream.

Absolutely amazing place! Wonderful experience from start to finish. We walked in as two adults and a child in a wheelchair, no booking. The gentleman at the front desk called Tony greeted us so warmly and welcomed us to the restaurant, showed us to a table and offered alternatives should they be more suitable with wheelchair access. He moved a table to make the space more comfortable and introduced us to our waitress. The whole wait staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, the food was to a very high standard. We had pudding which was amazing! And I found out they are dog friendly too! Honestly can’t rate the place highly enough. Faultless!

Came across this place looking for a pub lunch with the family. Went with the fixed price 3 course meal and was very impressed with the meal and the portion sizes. Family had a great time with friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Been meaning to dine here for a while now. All I can say, I wished I dined here years ago. The food is absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection. I rate this place. 5 STARS from me.
