What a lovely pub. We aren’t local but you could tell it’s a popular pub for locals from the conversations you overhear. Lovely atmosphere, friendly bar staff, great service, food tasty and a really good menu. I wish we were local and I’d book a Christmas meal!
Havent been here for years. I grew up here and had some amazing nights out probably 30yrs ago on this pub!! Went here for a birthday lunch with my mum. Service was amazing. Food was so good...really decent portions and good value for money. A really nice atmosphere in the pub even though it was quiet. Dead cosy feeling.
Food looked good on this occasion. Lots of people are partaking. I was pleasantly surprised overall. I have not been in for decades. Updated with nice decor. Fine range of popular beers. Food with attractive prices. Definitely be back.
The best Sunday dinner I have had out for a long time. Excellent quality meat,huge portions, perfect yorkshire puddings, 4 different veg It came out swiftly and was piping hot. Really good value for money and I will definitely be back for this.

Went on a scooter ride out and there were quite a few there. They were raising money for Ukraine by selling coffee and chips c/w chilli which were very nice. Raised over £370 and very friendly staff
