Great pub with very delicious food. There is a lovely varied menu, with suitable choices for all. All the staff are friendly & helpful, with good sense of humour. Amy served us today & was brilliant. I highly recommend the Steak & Ale pie & the Sunday roast. It won't be long before we're back.

Only found this place as it's round the corner from where our daughter's moved to. We've loved all the food we've tried so far, especially the steak and ale pie. The Sunday roasts are delicious, reasonably priced and come with a free complimentary side of cauliflower cheese. The staff are all lovely and Amy looked after us well again today. Can sometimes be lively but we usually manage to get a quieter corner. Would 100% recommend this place and booking is usually needed as it's a popular place, especially on a Sunday.

Called in after a walk near by. Great friendly service from Amy and Craig. Traditional fresh home cooked Sunday dinner and delicious desserts were fully eaten. Dogs made welcome too with water and biscuits . Certainly worth a visit x

Nice place and choice of food and beverages. Shame about the waitress who served us, she has an attitude problem. One of our party is veggie and ordered the prawn curry, the prawns were blue still when they arrived! To us that means that they are not cooked properly! The waitress was more interested trying to have an argument about it and belittling us into thinking that we didn't know what we were talking about! We were just offered another prawn curry, to take the risk of having another one that's not cooked properly no thank you!!

Always enjoyed it here, staff are lovely, the locals are a hoot. And the entertainment gets people dancing on tables. Had some lovely grub from here too and the outdoor area keeps the little ones busy for a while.

Fabulous atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff who follow all covid guidelines to keep both them and the customers safe. Great menu and top notch, quality fresh food. Great selection of craft gins and spirits. Amazing pint of Doombar and John Smith's.
