   We called in on Saturday afternoon for a drink before our meal, what a lovely welcome! Good selection of drinks, I went for a London Pride and was given the option of a glass or tankard.... lovely friendly barman. There was a good area to watch the footy, I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here or see anyone eating but it was friendly enough that we went back in for a couple of drinks after we'd had our food at Olive Lounge. Thanks

   We came in on Saturday, the food was amazing, we were pleased as have been before and the food was very disappointing. However, the bar staff were very rude. All stood about talking, ignoring customers. Apparently this is the usual behaviour for them. All really talking badly about one of the cooks. And these were managers. Not professional at all. Dirty plates and glasses everywhere. Yet plenty of staff on if they were to work instead of just socia. I don't think any of us will be back again.

   Refurbished to a good standard, brightened the pub up which was needed. New seating nice and comfortable. Really good selection of beers and lagers. Bar staff also very pleasant and friendly especially Harrison who is a credit to the horse shoes

   Whilst this might not be popular with the young generation it’s a great pub with a good atmosphere. Worth booking a table on a weekend if you’re meeting friends as it can get really busy especially around the Christmas holiday period. Good range of drinks at reasonable prices for Wickersley. There’s a good sized beer garden with plenty of tables. There’s are some parking spaces at the side of the pub and the surrounding roads but it’s always very busy at the weekend.

   Me and my family went to this place we had great service and our dog was very welcome they have treats and water free of charge. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty, the drinks were refreshing with a great selection of alcoholic drinks. Kids are allowed in until 7pm but ours were still eating ice cream by 7pm and nothing was said- we felt very welcome throughout. Kids ate for free when we went which was a nice bonus- I got a taste of the Deep South and my wife got the curry- both were really nice. There wasn’t any coleslaw however the server explained they’d given us extra garlic bread which was nice. A nice little eatery with quality drinks and fab service. Dogs are very welcome- in fact there was a sign saying Three Dogs Shoes! :)

   Had breakfast here with my siblings yesterday. Fantastic food and pot of tea each. Very friendly pub. Only negative comment is that the pub was really cold. After visiting the restroom I found the water and hand dryer freezing. We all left our coats on while we ate. For this reason alone we won't visit again

   Great local pub with friendly staff. Excellent choice of well kept real ales at very good prices. Came in this morning for breakfast and the ever smiling Callum took my order. Food was cooked very well and was served in good time by the ever friendly chief Megan.
