   My family celebrated my father’s 85th birthday meal. There were 9 adults plus one baby. Booking was easy via a phone call and a large table was prepared for our arrival. Food was hot and tasty from beef and ale pies, fish and chips , salt and pepper chicken, hunters chicken and hot chilli chicken burger… all plates were cleared and the food was enjoyed by all. Great selection of drinks were drank too. Lovely atmosphere and nice and spacious table. All staff were polite, professional and friendly especially the two lovely ladies who served us; Karen and Erin.

   Stayed here couple of times in motorhome. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The staff from management and his team was very friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic meal last week, it was out of this world. Facilities was lovely and clean and pub had a lovely atmosphere. Will be staying again in the near future. Thanks to everyone at Sitwell Arms

   What an amazing meal we had on boxing. Steak pie is to die for. Proper Gammon no thin rubbish. Would recommend Sitwell 100%. Spot on to the chef. We are from Blackpool visitng family and we could come here again without a doubt xx

   Amazing! During a really busy time for them around Christmas they ensured that I (who is going through chemo) had a secluded section to ensure I was safe. Food was fantastic and service form Holly was excellent. Definitely recommend!

   Having not been well our appetites were small, but on request the manager willingly accommodated our needs and my husband and I were able to share a pensioner's meal. Brilliant service food and festivities. Loved it and will come back when up in this area again. Thank you so much.

   The experience could have been better overall, nothing wrong with the food. The service left a lot to be desired. We were never offered menu's, I had to ask when there were 3 members of staff stood talking not far from our table. It took over an hour for the food to arrive, so much so we ended up asking, miraculously when we asked the food appeared within 2 minutes. 3 out of 9 of our meals were in complete. Mine personally was missing 3 items from what was stated on the menu, this meant our meals were delivered in stages! When prompted the staff were helpful. I understand there was a new chef at short notice. Surely the waiting staff knew the menu. Overall it could have worse, it did leave a lot to be desired.

   had lunch with friends, meals were ok, the rump steak was tender and good but again the french fries were not crispy. my friends' meals and kid's meals were good. the three layers ginger and latte cake was good. the weekday fixed price lunch is now £10.99 and it is value for money. fish and chips was ok. would like the chunky chips to be cooked longer and more crispy.
