   Got a letter Saturday for x-ray appointment this coming Sunday, rang up at 08.30 to ask if there was any other appointments available. Just got home been x-rayed and home all by 09.30. I cannot praise all staff at Leigh Infirmary and the walk in centre enough. I had an colonoscopy a couple of weeks ago. Staff were amazing, put at ease from start to finish. Now that the new diagnostic unit is open it is so much easier than travelling to Wigan, stressing about car parking. Well done to everyone at Leigh - I have nothing but good to say about everyone!

   I want to pass on my thanks to the team in the endoscopy unit at Leigh Infirmary. I can't remember the names of the Nurses but I was in for a procedure today and they were all amazing and made the process a lot more comfortable. Thank you.

   Recently went to to womens health unit,I can't fault anything,from reception,nurses,the consultant i saw William.Very professional and caring,polite and helped me through the procedure I had to have done. Talked through everything,not rushed and they are all a credit to the NHS.

   Total disgrace. You absolutely cannot get through to CHANGE an appointment. Such a simple request yet they cant do it. Got passed from pillar to post. Useless ineffective system & whoever runs & manages this infirmary should be embarrassed. The phone lines are a shambles . Changing an appt should be easy & straight forward. You make it so difficult adding more stress. Caused so much anxiety. All I wanted to do was change the date of my appointment. Constantly engaged or the line asks for ID number which patients don't have. The NHS is a joke. When I finally went to my appt the staff are so miserable.

   I'll get the worst bit out of the way first.........Recently parking has been a nightmare with every space on the "Entrance" car park full. There's a massive overspill car park but it's a fair walk back to the main entrance. The hospital always seems empty. You can walk down a main corridor and not see another person. That has its upsides as well. As some one that has recently endured 18hr waits in Wigan A&E I appreciate how quickly and efficiently you can get attended to here. Other than the parking (Which incidentally is still better than Wigan) I have no complaints about this place

   Turned away twice for ‘Urgent’ blood tests - shocking. Staff didn’t care that I had mad the journey twice or that I’d paid £6.00 parking over the two visits not to mention two different times taken off work! No duty of care. So much for a caring NHS - they only care about themselves.

   Recently I had to visit the walk in centre. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I was checked in, examined and left with painkillers in under 2 hours. Joe the physio was especially helpful. I can't thank them enough.

   Took my wife for a pre-op MRSA test today. Great reception staff with accurate directions. Short wait for test conducted by pleasant and efficient nurse. Top marks to Leigh.

   Just visited the endoscopy suite at Leigh. The staff there were absolutely brilliant with me. They calmed me, listened to me and made the procedure so much more better and bearable than my previous ones. Extremely high praise to every member of staff. Thank you so much
