Do try the Christmas pizzas excellent! Dad had the afternoon fish and chips always tremendous value. Some excellent draught ales available others not so ! Broke my golden rule try before you buy please please do this as one pint was definitely not a pleaser so tried all the other offerings on tasters and selected an outstanding pint for my sister, she's a Yorkshire lass and likes a good pint. Staff were as ever polite, friendly and engaging also a good laugh. Not always found in a lot of pubs these days.

Popped in for some food, 7 of us. 6pm Sunday. The food was good quality and came quickly, as expected at most Spoons. The venue is lovely. Being winter the doors to the patio were swinging open with smokers. They ought to have been restricted to using one patio door, as it was a little draughty. The staff weren't quick at clearing empty tables or our plates and empty glasses. Overall a nice place for a relaxed drink and something to eat. We had 2 rounds of drinks (half soft drinks), main course and dessert less than £18 per head.

We were a hen do that popped in before going home. The place was quiet for a Sunday evening. The staff were good, made all our drinks quickly and they're keen on ID. The toilets are very nice and there's plenty of them. I'd be happy to go again.

Called in initially for a drink but stayed for something to eat!... Served quickly via the app, by friendly staff. I'd say one of the nicer 'spoons' I've visited, and will certainly call again!

Just had a meal with my son who is 13 and didn’t realise it was quiz and bingo night on Wednesdays . We sat down just as it was starting and Lexi who serves behind the bar was helpful enough to ask the quiz host to allow us to join and to re read 2 of the numbers as they had just started. My son had a fun evening on too his fave food which is their pizza. Lexi is warm, kind, polite and professional. She is an asset to the team. Thank you Scott too, who is the owner so was pleasant and approachable

Amazing food. The pizza is lovely especially the meat feast. You get a pint and a pizza for £8. Would definitely recommend for a cheap meal whilst you are out. Overall a very cheap pub for good food

Service is always terrible at this branch for some reason. Hot drink cups ALWAYS have to be asked for and aren't just brought to the table. When asked for the hot drinks the server was rude and said the bar was very busy, well that's rubbish, bar staff stood chatting with no customers. Food is as you expect from Wetherspoon, fine for the money so no complaints there at all. Management need to sort out their staff training and SOPs and quickly. I work in hospitality and know poor staff training and management when I see it. This a prime example. Usually Wetherspoon has a much better service level so that's what this review is based on.
