Parking Related only had to leave my wife on her own for her appointment. Has she suffers with bad anxiety is was not ideal for her. There absolutely no space to park and after 30 minutes tying to find a space I left and went to the black bull and got a drink. Parking was free for visitors to the pub so waited for my wife to ring us so I could pick her up. The hospital needs a major upgrade for Parking for visitors.

Came in to the Sherwood unit today for a colonoscopy. Was treated amazingly from start to finish preparing for the procedure to prescribing my bowel prep right through to the end . Lovely people working on the unit made me feel at ease. Relaxing environment everything explained. Questions answered throughout the investigations. Well cared for after and during the procedure. Despite not having sedation they still made sure I was ok refreshments offered . Thank you for making this worrisome process easier.

This hospital saved my life. I was brought in by emergency ambulance from Chorley hospital and admitted to the Critical Care Unit. The staff were all fantastic. I was close to dying when I arrived but thanks to the amazing staff at the Royal Preston Hospital I am alive to write this review. I have nothing but gratitude to both the Royal Preston Hospital and the NHS in general.

Came in after a serious crash while go karting. Advised by 111. Arrived just before 9:30pm, and booked in by 9:40pm. 20 minutes later, my pulse and bloods were taken. Due to a high heart rate, I was told to have an ECG. Another 20 minutes wait later, and I was completely fine. Then, I was passed onto the urgent treatment bit of the department. This ended up being a 3 hours 30 minute wait. About 2 hours in, I was told that I was next on the list to be seen. About another 10 minutes went by, and near enough all of the doctors had gone, leaving 1 with around 25 patients middle of the night on a Wednesday. All of this just to be told I was fine! Absolute waste of time.

DR WAQAS AHMED @ A&E provided outstanding care needs to the patient. Communicated to the patient in Urdu. Made quick decisions to examine, admit and cure the patient. It was in the best interest of the patient to be admitted & this DR did not put this patient at further harm. The reception team & remaining staff provided excellent care. This department provided quick and excellent performance in such busy environment

Thank you to everyone on Ward 3 on Saturday 4th February, I was in for sinus surgery and everyone made me feel comfortable and calm prior to and after the surgery. Thanks especially to Charlotte and Sam, who could not do enough for me or any of the other 3 guys in my waiting / recovery room. All of the staff were a credit to the hospital, thanks for making a potentially traumatic experience so much more relaxed.

Just want to say a massive thankyou to all staff on ward 11, I had some major surgery and the level of care and professionalism I received was second to none. The only thing I didn't like was the food and the fact its so cold on the ward. I'm still giving a 5star review as the staff are all amazing

My Mum was admitted to Royal Preston last Tuesday. The paramedics and nurses from the stroke ward were amazing. The couple days that my Mum had to spend in recus were not the best, if I am honest. However, she was moved to Ward 21 and then to Ward 17. All Doctors and Nursing Staff were amazing and dealt with my mother with compassion, great care and dignity. I will be forever in your debt. A million thanks x
