We were really welcomed by the young girl and the landlady. We had called ahead to see if we could stop over night as they were on Park4night You can have hook up for £10. We went in and had a couple of drinks and met the friendly locals. Can highly recommend
Stopped for the 1st time last night. Got to say, I was really impressed. I paid £10 for EHU, as long as you had some food, parking was free. I had the Wild Boar,Pork and Apple pie with all the trimmings, plus a dessert (which I don't normally do). The food was excellent as was the accompanying beer. The staff were equally excellent, attentive but not too attentive. Afterwards, a very quiet night and a good sleep. I'll be back
Food was lovely. And great value. Always a service with a smile. Always a good selection of IPA and beers. I Love this place.
A warm and Friendly welcome awaited us, we had booked a "pitch" for our motorhome ahead of our visit which was brilliant, quiet and we chose to have Electric Hook Up for £10 which we were more than happy to pay as excellent value xx We had booked a table to dine in the restaurant and we weren't disappointed oh my word the choice of ales and ciders was phenomenal!!! All the staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful and the decor is beautiful. We ordered Hunters Chicken and a side of onion rings ...never seen onion rings as big !!! The meal was excellent. We'll definitely be back soon for another overnight stay and next time we plan to sample the Sunday Lunch. Highly recommend this gem of a find for motorhome stopovers xx
Large graveled car park, though only 2 EHU, good price, staff friendly and welcoming, good variety of beers, excellent food at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend and will be back.
We love it here. There is always a good choice of real ales and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Large outdoor area for the kids to play in when the weather is good. Snooker room and restaurant at the back.
Really enjoyed my tea here last week. Good value and quality of food. The chips are amazing. Good selection on specials board. Looked like there was a good selection of beers and ciders (was driving unfortunately). Would definitely recommend and hopefully go again
We are happy to say this pub is our local, the food is exceptional, the beers good, the staff are great n the punters aren't bad either. To top all of this off, Kathy and John allowed us to hold our very own wedding festival here last weekend. It was the best day ever, you did us proud both of you on the best day of our lives. Good portions,good service,very clean,good range of real ale and keg beers,I like my chips crispy hence 4stars,but I would go again.
