The very best traditional pub for the very best pie anywhere, we go every fortnight and would go more if work didn't get in the way. Never disappointed ever.

Nice little pub. Went for a birthday meal - had a table reserved. Good thing too as seating area was quite a small space, but fits everyone in very nicely. Took advantage of the two pies for £25 deal. Nice food. The extra gravy was a disappointment for all. I had a gluten free steak pie. Was nice and staff seemed to be very allergen aware. Many gluten free pie options. All the gravy (regular and gluten free) could go through the eye of a needle. If you like thicker gravy - this is not the pub for you. Good drinks and atmosphere. Loved all the Pete McKee artwork on the walls! Pub hours stated closed at 10pm, we got the hint about 9pm to leave. As soon as we walked out the door, everything was shut up and lights off.

A nice quaint traditional little pub. Excellent friendly service and the food delivered very quickly. Pie, chips and mushy peas. Homemade pie was nice, the chips were alright but seemed slightly under cooked, but plenty of them. Mushy peas seemed like they were general supermarket tinned variety. A bit annoyed the gravy was a paid for optional extra.

Always good food and good atmosphere, starters and Desserts a tad pricey but you'll probs not need one with the portion sizes of mains. 100% worth a visit, try the pies!

Lovely mixed grill the first visit. I almost gave it 3 stars due to the rude young lass working the Saturday shift judging people by appearance. The 2nd visit I had a lamb and mint pie and was the best pie I've ever tasted, please bare in mind folk they are only crust tops

Really nice and friendly place. Food very good value and very tasty. We had 9 different meals, all were delivered together and very hot and good quality. Really good choice on menu and also a specials board. Good choice of Puds and individual cafeteria pots. Will be returning. Suggest booking as quite busy.

First time here, traditional style pub, tried home made steak and kidney pie, best pie I've had for a long time. Other flavours available, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Will be calling again.

Visited this lovely pub for the first time today with my family. I can quite honestly say, it was hands down, the best pub food I've ever had. The service was exceptional, the ambience was lovely and as I said, the food???? SENSATIONAL. I cannot recommend The Swan highly enough!!! They have won themselves a regular set of visitors in us!! FABULOUS
