I purchased a vehicle from a garage a year ago with 12 months Mot , so a year goes by and my car goes in for its mot today to find more than 1.1k costs of repairs to get the vehicle roadworthy ! funnily enough the car failed mot 8 months previous on the same faults!ive been assured today the issues have been present for well over 2 years meaning that MOT was worthless , more importantly they have left me driving on motorways and with children in a dangerous unroadworthy vehicle! even worse when contacted today they remained committed to being a reputable garage and took no blame at all ! disgraceful , already been closed down once ! Obviously not a moral or ounce of compassion or decency knowing they could’ve killed people , this will be taken further.

Car taken for MOT last week, 2 hours later called to say bill would be £450 due to work needed to be carried out in order to pass the MOT. My Dad (who is 83) paid cash - was given no receipt and no paperwork to say what work had been carried out. Was promised this paperwork every day and nothing given. Checked with DVLA and MOT was still not showing 5 days later. Contacted garage and given every excuse under the sun! (at hospital, internet not working, computer not working, got oil on my hands so I can't get to paperwork etc!). DVLA contacted and they have advised that this garage is not licensed to do MOTs (he must therefore be taking it somewhere else?). I have messaged garage owner and asked for my dad's money back but we are getting the above excuses! How can someone do an MOT and carry out £400 worth of work in 2 hours!!! My Dad now has to take his car somewhere else next week as the MOT has not been done. This is now in the hands of DVLA, Trading Standards and the Police as we have not been able to get our money back so far - we will however pursue until we do. DO NOT USE!! Taken advantage of an elderly, trusting gentleman.

Left my car there for a MOT on 24th Jan 24, 45 mins later got called to say the car had failed the MOT on play in the wheel bearing & bushes are perished! He quoted me £400 after telling him I would shop round for a better quote he dropped the price to £300. I went to collect my car after refusing to find him driving about in my car! Took the car to ford chambers for second opinion the car passed its MOT! Do not trust this garage he is out to rip you off. I took my last car for a MOT there and it failed on the exact same thing unfortunately I had the job done, this garage needs closing down!

Disgraceful garage, overcharging and not doing the work he says he is doing, conning old men who he knows will pay…. He needs closing down. Also my car had an mot there when I got car back seat belt was still faulty so I wonder if he actually checked everything he should?!!!!

Went to this garage to check why my car engine symbol was on. He diagnosed and said the EGR valve had issue. He said he would fix and replace it in one hour and he claimed to have had the parts in his garage. To be sure, I asked him to wait for me for 10 mins so I can call around and make my decision. I urgently called Land Rover and told them what the issue was based on this Garages diagnostics. LANDROVER said it was 4 to 5 hr job and they charge me £325 for the part plus their labour. I then walked in back to Kingstanding Garage and I asked the owner to give.me the car key and I had to leave. The owenr got quite aggressive and intemedating and made a shocking excuse and reason and said, he could not just give me the car key and because he had to remove his computer cable from the car and it would take at least 1 hr to disconnect the cable OR else my car would never start again and that he would not take responsibility. I told him that it was a one minute job to simply take his computer cable off and let me go. Basically, he directly forced me to give him the £525.00 and that he would replace the valve in 1 hr. I told him, how could he do a 5 hr job in 1 hr. He said, he knew exactly what was wrong and he allegedly had the part. I told him, how did he because it was a expensive land rover part, he said he had it anyway. In short, he scammed me to pay him. And after consecutive attempts over 4 days, he failed to fix the car and infact he caused two more issues. So i askes him to refund because he could not fix the car. But he has been ignoring my calls, letters and visits and I am now taking him to small claims court. HE IS A SCAM AS ALSO MENTIONED BY SOME OTHER CUSTOMERS QND VICTIMS. PLEASE AVOID HIM. I WILL KEEP MY POST UPDATED.

Unfortunately I had no choice but to use the MOT service and a engine service as well, and wished I didn't! The service was very expensive and the MOT failure cost an absolute fortune for welding I couldn't see. Will not be going back there ever again.

Not good, work charged for was not carried out. I even payed for a new back box on the exhaust and the following year when it was MOT,d the back box hadnt even been replaced. Spark plugs weren't replaced after paying for a full service, that happened two years on the trott, i know because any other garage cant get hold of Ford spark plugs. Complete rip off.
