   Wife took the car for an MOT. The car failed and they quoted £800 and more for the welding. She took the car away from the garage to a friend who is a mechanic, who did all the work for £550, including welding. As is her right, she took the car back this garage within 10 days for a free MOT retest, and they failed it again. Picked up the car and took it to another garage without doing any extra work to it and it passed the MOT. So there was nothing wrong with it but she had to pay an extra £40 for a retest! Cancelled the MOT on my other car, and will never visit again!

   Can not recommend this garage enough. Finally found a decent garage in burntwood that found the problems that three other garages couldn't spot and I spent the last 12 months on unnecessary repairs. Booked in for an MOT with A&Js they found the problems, fixed them quickly and very reasonably priced.

   Opportunists cowboys, took my car in with an issue and they said it was misfiring on all 4 cylinders and repairs would cost Atleast £300, took it MJ motors (which is literally down the road) and they repaired the issue for £78. Disgusting ratty cowboys

   Fantastic service. Got me in the same day and managed to source the parts to complete the job, when 3 mainstream garages told me that it was impossible to do. All jobs completed to a high standard and even completed my mot retest when most places said will be 2 weeks. Big thank you

   Took car in for mot a few years ago. Failed on a cracked CV boot which was fine but it also failed on headlights which I thought was fishy. It was mot'd by vw for the 2 years before. VW have a fairly high tech setup involving some big computerised lense. A&J use an old board so I question the accuracy of their test. They also decided to adjust them without asking and charged me for it. Found out my friend at work was taking their vehicle there for an mot. Told him about the head light thing. Big surprise he failed on the same thing. They also adjusted them without asking (something like £20 per light). Coincidence? Seems like they're just trying to get abit of extra cash out of you. Since they already charge the max vosa allow.

   Serviced my car, allegedly! Charged me more than a main dealer an couldn’t turn off service light. Had to take to main delete and have it serviced again. Cost me over £300 in the end! Be very careful if you use them

   1st time user of this garage. Quick turn around on MOT-only check for car. They didn't charge the max allowable amount as the car was in tip top condition, so I was very happy with the price paid (...and the car passed with no issues!)
