I booked the accommodation very last minute (on the evening of my stay) and arrived at check in late. The bar staff had waited for me to arrive. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.
Nice little pub, stayed there one night in November. Room very comfortable beds very clean as was the en suite definitely stay again, never had a meal so can't comment, but it did look nice
It's a very traditional pub. We went for a meal which was surprising cheap. Quality was OK. Excellent value for money.
Stayed 3 nights loved the rooms ...pub itself was very welcoming nice selection of drinks to suit everyone..staff were friendly and welcoming.
Nice bar staff, very friendly comfy beds and check out was easy just hand key over kick out at 11. Nice beer garden would come again
My wife and I stayed here for the first time this weekend and after a long day in Sheffield City centre, we was very very welcoming and polite and friendly staff and Janet the pub Owner and her staff showed us to our room, that was warm and cosy and comfortable with mem foam bed tv and a smart bathroom with shower far better then my own shower. Then what more could you need but a Sunday roast beef dinner with everything. The price was amazing and so was the food. Will certainly be there again soon in the coming weeks.
Just had fish & chips from here to take away, it was amazing ,will definitely have again & recommend

Stayed for one night booked quite a while ago by telephone and asked for bed and breakfast for 2 was quoted £75.00. Text sent on the day to say we would be arriving about 4pm.There was no reply but none really needed, I thought. When we arrived were met by a really friendly helpful young lady. However, she told us that there would be no breakfast due to staff issues. I somewhat understood but felt I could have been told in case I wanted to find somewhere else instead. Fait accompli really as we had theatre tickets for 7.00. Was told the room was £65.00. Room was clean and adequate. Bed comfortable. So no real issue other than the breakfast scenario. Shame.
I stayed for 3 nights & knew when I first walked in It was a friendly place. There was a bit of noise in the evening but never worried me. If you want a quiet time stay in a country hotel. I can recommend it as they were all very friendly. The food was very good & the rooms were clean.
