There aren't many recent reviews, so this is the current state of play! A strange place with no atmosphere! Worth avoiding!
Went to a 60th wedding anniversary do. Really enjoyed it, music was spot on, the buffet was excellent. Pub was nicely decorated so to the loos. Didn't go in the other side but where we were was spotless.

This pub is quite sad to be honest there are no more than 3-7 peoples in there at any one time. No food hot or cold. The decor is outdated and needs a revamping. Not my kinda place and didn't feel comfortable. If you need a drink desperately go in for one and see what I mean or otherwise you can go down to Wath and find a better pub choice with more on offer including foods and a better atmosphere.
Very friendly local bar, taken over by people who obviously take pride in their pub and try to get the community involved. Very well maintained and nice beer garden, function room much improved over previous.
