   The pub looks really nice now it's been refurbished. The carvery was lovely as always, the desert was disappointing (hence the 4 stars) but we gave feed back to Lynsey who passed our comments onto the chef, she said she appreciated our feed back as it was the first time they'd served it. Lynsey was very attentive all night, lovely and very chatty.

   Wow!!! What amazing food and service. We had a bad experience at another pub who treated us shockingly after arriving with my training assistance dog but you treated us with open arms. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The food was really nice and even the dog got a little bowl of meat. No descrimination and no judgement just amazing food, a relaxing time and wonderful friendly staff. Thank you for making our day special and thank you to Jill for being so kind.

   Very nice pub clean and tidy, food was tasty and hot and as we were a table of 11 the food came at the same time. Can't use the blue light 20% discount at this particular Marston's chain when ordering at the bar which I didn't like, but my nephew ordered his food through the app and got his 20% discount...makes no sense. Would return as staff are very polite and helpful.

   Lovely staff, the new look is very impressive, clean, tidy, fresh and brighter. Food lovely as always. Music enjoyable and not to loud, tv on in background, plenty more seating. Little play area outside for kids. Waitress staff are lovely friendly and super helpful. Love it here been coming for last 10year fair priced too

   4 people with different views. 1st one.. bad curry, wouldn't come again. People 2 & 3 ordered mix grill. Found this dry and wasn't hot. 4th had Hunters chicken and said they liked their food but was confused why the bacon was chucked on top of the chicken. We didn't have nachos but this was because we thought they were over priced. Desserts were ordered and one ordered brownie and to their utter disgust it was a cheap chocolate sponge. This was the person who had the bad curry, so their experience was extremely expensive and disappointing.

   Pretty much like you'd expect a place like this to be. Food was pretty good to be fair and arrived quickly. When we ordered cakes though, they did take a while to arrive but that was more down to a member of staff forgetting to put the order through. Maybe it was my imagination but the cakes didn't seem as big as the display ones. Still, I enjoyed my visit and would go again.

   Called here for a carvery before collecting my computer from being repaired. I had the beef which was beautifully cooked, not chewy like at some carveries. Good choice of veggies again all perfectly cooked, mashed potato had spring onions mixed into it which was a nice touch. Great value at £11.80 including a glass of Coke, I’ll definitely be back again.

   I am so impressed with this pub. It really does carvery very well. The menu is straightforward and you can even add pigs in blankets and an extra Yorkshire (which of course I did!). The food is great value for money and the yorkshires are incredible. The staff are very personable and they really make you feel at ease. Will definitely be returning. 5 stars in my opinion.
