   Finding an honest, reliable, trustworthy and genuine mechanic who fills you with the confidence that the stress you are experiencing due to a faulty motor vehicle is about to come to an end can be hit and miss and luck of the draw. Over 20-years ago I drove into Jag's garage as I needed an Mot told him whatever needs doing just go ahead and I'll settle with with him when the work is done. This would have been a licence to blag free money from an unscrupulous individual and I have dealt with a few of those in my time, so I braced myself for the worse. So when I called back and he told me your car went through, no problems just pay for your test there is nothing else to pay for I knew then I had found my mechanic. On another occasion I needed some work done and instead of insisting on waiting for him to be available he recommended the garage around the corner and was very complimentary about them. I recommend this garage without reservation.

   I highly recommend this garage, l have been using it for 10+ years. Most mechanics try to rip you off and carry out unnecessary work costing £££. BUT, this garage is reliable, trustworthy and charge reasonable prices.

   Absolutely fantastic!! Makes you feel at ease, he explains everything to you. Top guy!! Top service and the price is right. Went for an mot today and normally its a horrible feeling when it fails, but I left feeling great because the guy was brilliant!!! Deffo always going to use this garage.

   Fast repair ..but colour is not an exact match... I was assured this would be ok .. when I quizzed him about this he said it's just because the other paint is old.. the car was only 4 year's old and has been well looked after . The last wax was about 15 months before the repairs it was hard to see the difference in low light but stands out too much in the sunlight....

   I took my Volvo C30 to Oakland's Garage or a yearly service based on the recommendation from another local business owner. Having had issues with other garages 'finding issues' during a service I was apprehensive. I needn't have worried. My car was ready within the day, had been cleaned, had its tyres pumped up and I was talked through the work completed (which cost £160 as expected) and told there were no issues. Thank you to Jag for his excellent customer service. I will use them again.

   Excellent staff with a mountain of knowledge. They treat you with respect and are very honest. Will never charge you for something that is already in working Condition. Been using this garage for more than 6 years now. Body shop guy Ali is a nice person too who is expert in his field. Got some bodywork done too. They make you aware of any issues you car might face in near future and give you a heads up in advance. Highly recommended.
