    Non de gustibus disputandum. This is a great place but one that could be better in some respects. The frontage and the state of the building make me think of the Shakin' Stevens Song "this Ole House." I like Belgian beer but they served me with a Duchesse de Bourgogne which tasted of vinegar; no Chimay, Kasteel etc was available. The chap who serves/owns the pub is a nice (very "battle hardened") chap but needs to be aware of the standards of his competitors at the Chesterfield Arms and the Neptunw. I wish him well :)))

    Been a while since I’ve popped in to the Beer Parlour. Took a few friends who’d never visited before and it hadn’t changed at all… but that’s a good thing! As per usual a huge choice of beers on offer. It’s very much a local’s local.
