   Sent 4 Shock absorbers to be reconditioned. Came back with terrible paint work that scratches off with your finger nails! Anyway fitted them to the car and they don't work so decided to take the caps off and look inside, obviously they were not reconditioned as dirty oil with bits in it, old gaskets and seals reused, new bushes were fitted to the ends of the arms, these are different sizes so having to make differnt thickness shims/packers to overcome. I am now going to have them rebuilt elswhere. A waste of £674.00, so be warned.

   A brief note to thank you very much for rebuilding the front Armstrong Shock Absorbers from my ’53 MG TF. You provided me with an exemplary service. I posted them to you in the middle of the week, had a phone call from you upon their receipt, then that Saturday morning a call came from Mr S to say they had been rebuilt and would be in the post on Monday, I received them here safely, together with a bottle of the correct oil for topping up when needed on the Wednesday. I fitted them at the weekend and they have transformed the handling and comfort of the car. I really couldn’t ask for more, and all at a very reasonable price - superb! Again, many thanks As you can see I highly recommend your company. . If only others would provide the same level of attention to completing work to such a similar high standard.

   I have a 1958 TR3A. I needed a new stainless steel covered fuel line to connect the copper feed from the tank to the two SU H6 carbs with a large banjo bolt to each lid. It needs careful construction because it is situated over the exhaust and any leaks would be vey dangerous. The best answer is to send a sample which Stevson can use as a pattern. The new fuel line was well made and fits well.

   Great service by this family run business was in need of a brake pipe made up thy done it same day as was going on holiday on the saturday. All i can say if you're in need of a pipe made up whether it be for your car,motorbike or your custom built vehicle give this family run business a try full marks from me...

   Sent a pair of lever arm shock absorbers for full re conditioning. Fitted to vehicle, one lever arm was completely in the wrong position. removed and sent back to be refitted. Once returned, the arm had been angle grinded and beaten off - Looks terrible. Re fitted and road tested - both shocks honking oil from everywhere. Removed yet again only to find They had used the original 30yr + old top gaskets again. NOT what i paid for. Waste of time and money. Not a professional service and now having to rectify shock and repair to an acceptable condition to fit on a concourse car.
