   It seemed nice when you walked in atmosphere was okay and vibe was nice. Went for dinner for my Bestfriend graduation…firstly we tried to order via the app as advised but it didn’t work at all. We finally had to take everyone’s order down and then go to the bar…we put in the order at 4:15pm none of the food arrived until way past 5 pm over an HOUR LATER. Guaranteed it’s a medium sized establishment but that is a ridiculously long wait time for a couple of steaks and chicken wings/chips. Because it took so long and we have a 4 month old baby with us and a 3 hour drive back home we asked if we could take it away and were told that they don’t do take away …which was strange. A member of staff presented us with 2 very small takeaway boxes that they found and we were able to pack away one persons food with it. Portion sizes were okay - steak wasn’t exactly cooked how was asked, would suggest asking for it to be cooked one away from what you actually want. The Mac & cheese was horrible (I’m sorry - it didn’t taste like anything) The lasagna I had was very tasty but couldn’t finish it take away so ended up being wasted. It’s a shame as the food looked really nice but we couldn’t finish it at all or take it home.

   Great pub in the heart of Sheffield just opposite the train station. Has a fascinating history over they years and ask the proprietors for more insight. Good selection of beers and the food was good too. I ordered the fish and chips which were good. Bloody good. Everything was done just right. From the batter to the chips to the taste of the fish. I dont generally give 5 stars for any rating unless I feel it's completely justified as otherwise a 5 star rating is meaningless but Howard's comes pretty damn close!

   Train themed pub - opposite and up hill from the train station. Didn’t order any food - no clue if they serve any hot meals. Sports on TV. Decent selection of drinks.

   Stopped off here on a bar crawl. Decided to have sharers as were hungry. The food was great. The staff and service was second to none. The pub is massive and one of the nicest I've been in, in Sheffield. We will defiantly be back when in Sheffield again.

   One of the nicest pubs in Sheffield! Usually pubs near train stations are very generic & just a ‘waiting’ place for travellers. In contrast, The Howard has personality & the perfect style to make you feel like you’re in your local. Sarah, the landlady, makes you feel so welcome & all the staff are lovely. The whole place is clean & modern & has multiple areas to feel cosy in, & the music is always great. The food is also always absolutely top tier! I recommend this place before and after you catch a train, of course, but it is definitely worth making a visit to any time!

   The customer service is brilliant ,I felt safe and secure and the atmosphere of the venue itself is rustic and calming. We sat at a booth although there was plenty of other seating and a pool table.

   Just really nice staff, so attentive and polite. There was a new guy, young with short hair who served us, I forget his name. He was so nice, a perfect example of great customer service. The small plates and sharers are always great to eat and good value too. You always are made to feel so welcome when you go in, a lovely place.

   Fabulous bar in a prime location directly opposite the train station. Super-friendly staff, large menu, huge portions in extremely comfortable surroundings. There are lots of little booths, alcoves and corners to have a quiet drink, chat or watch a big event. Heating is always on full blast making this a must for any tired, cold and hungry traveller looking for a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere.

   Cute place, lousy, expensive food. I ordered a cheese burger, but what I got was a bland, dry, inedible mess. I even questioned it. For £15 quid for a lunch, I don't know why ppl serve those prefabricated beef patties. The only reason I ate any of it was that I was hungry...I should have refused it when I saw the dry mess with nothing juicy on it. Yuck! And the place is so cute, I was all excited to come back. No wonder no one was eating!
