   Fabulous Sunday carvery with over 5 meats to choose from and big portions if you want all of them. Tasty gravy and all the different types of potatoes you could want. The struggle is trying to hold back on over filling the plate as it's so delicious and well cooked and flavoured. The staff are friendly and quick at serving. There's a discount card you can use on drinks if you're a member too. Typical working mens club type atmosphere with a separate room to watch sports etc. Live music sometimes on which is always fun to see.

   The Pioneer serve the most fantastic Sunday carvery!! The have five meats to choose from and roast potatoes cooked in dripping, Yorkshire puddings and a selection of winter well cooked vegetables!!

   Excellent venue for parties or just the odd pint and pool with mates. Great friendly atmosphere landlord and landlady are very friendly and helpful and a good laugh. Great for watching footy and dancing the night away to some music. Great night out for all. Must visit local for anyone
