What a gem! For years I have driven past this pub wondering what it was like. Now I know. Lovely traditional pub. Fantastic beer garden. Has a definite ' vibe 'going on. We happened upon what we thought was a music circle in the side room. Ended up playing percussion instruments. It turned out to be the monthly Copoeira meeting. Folk taking it in turns to 'dual' using their non combat dance. A great experience. Other than the usual bar snacks, there is no food. U

Best pub we've been in in a long time. So friendly . Great choice if drinks particularly beer with brilliant prices. The outside courtyard is dream. We went for a private quiz night for our church but will certainly be back. Thankyou! We didn't eat so I don't know about the food!

Went to this pub for the pre Edinburgh Fringe comedy night. It's a fantastic little boozer with some great ales & a pizza oven in a nice little outdoor area. The staff were really welcoming to us even though it seemed mainly locals we were made to feel comfortable. Thankyou x

Large place with a good cider and beer selection. Free WiFi. Beer garden & pool table. It's won a couple of Camra awards so worth a visit if you are in the area. Friendly service.

Visiting SWFC, but well worth the walk. A proper boozer, a great atmosphere & made to feel really welcome. A good range of ales was the 'icing on the cake'...

Wonderful pub. I am not really interested in beers, so can't comment; for me what makes this place special is the variety of ciders available, small batch, artisan produced flat cider. After you've been here mass produced drinks begin to lose their appeal.

My first visit to this pub, I came here to check out their real ciders as they had just been awarded CAMRA Cider pub of the year. A large pub with a nice little beer garden where live bands perform. The landlady Steph was super welcoming, I tried out several ciders while here. I will definitely be back again.
