The Broadfield pub served one of the best pies I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked with a golden, flaky crust and a rich, flavorful filling that was simply unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff friendly, and the whole experience felt genuinely authentic. I’d go back in a heartbeat just for that incredible pie and a pint to match!

Food = BEER Only a 10 % Porter available so opted for old school BODDINGTONS - nice pint. Quite busy 8.30 pm on a Monday night.

Everything was pretty great. There was a little mistake with on of the meals, got beef instead of pork, but that was rectified immediately. Service was really quick, the staff works really hard. My chips were a bit bitter - maybe the cooking oil hasn't been changed. The rest was pretty tasty.

Honestly, one of the best roasts we have ever had, and I don't take those kinds of statements lightly. Usually avoid the beef at most places as it is very hit and miss but this was cooked to PERFECTION. You could pull that brisket apart by breathing on it. Just need to go through the rest of the roast menu now. 6 stars.

Nice pub with good selection of cask abd keg ales. Situated on busy road so parking is tricky. As i was driving i just had a half of 4% and a pint of AF. Nice garden at rear.

Really great Sunday roast, the front of house staff are friendly and the service was very smooth whilst we were there. Will definitely return to try some of the other items on the menu!

Don’t give out many 5 stars but the pie I had was a beauty. The photo doesn’t do her justice really but she was loaded with quality filling, accompanied by nice gravy, peas and chunky chips. Overall it’s a excellent pub, easily the best in the area with good selection of beers, spacious beer garden and lively. It’s changed a lot since it was my old local but still has a good vibe - shame the pool table has had to go though.

A few of us ordered pie & chip and the supreme chicken. The pie & chips was a massive portion, really hearty and tasty. Chicken supreme was good, slightly too acidic for me but a good selection of veg for a healthier option. The let down was the desserts - sticky toffee pudding was very flourey and dry and the brownie looked the same. Ambience of the place was good, the quiz was fun and the staff super friendly!

You can’t beat a hearty main at The Broadfield. Food is always super delicious and flavoursome. You defo need to save room for dessert. Plus, if you’re up for a cocktail, then you’re spoilt for choice. All in all, an absolute gem.
