An outstanding place for food - Hefty Hen! Like why not! Then the real ale has somehow turned a massive corner. Had three pints of 'laughing juice' (Jaipur). Best pints of Jaipur for at least 6 years in Sheffield. Well done Joey!
Have eaten in here at The Hefty Hen and was super happy when I saw they were now in Uber eats. The chicken is amazing and the burgers huge. Home made pickles are to die for. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants tasty chicken packed with flavour!
Great pub with great atmosphere but they've changed the menu again... now its all chicken.
Great pub frequented by locals and students. Food is great with new chicken offering, good portion size, taste better then the high street purveyors and not too pricey. Great beer/drinks selection, pool, free arcade games (keeps the kids busy) and karaoke rooms. Staff warm and friendly.
Large open planned bar with pool table and TV'S. Excellent real ale. I had Bradfield's seasonal Belgian Blue. Friendly staff. Paulicarus came back for Christmas.
Great pub which seems to tick most boxes. I think they need a little work on anything else but burgers, but hey...
The OG has a good selection of cask ale and a good team with a reasonable food menu. Well worth a visit
Great pub, and a very good place to eat too. Decent selection of beers and spirits. The smokehouse food offering is excellent. Simple and honest, but overall tasty. You could really taste the smoke on the ribs. Good portions, good value. Good range of TVs and pool tables, but also some quiet nooks with comfy Chesterfield seats.
Nice place. I was very impressed that the menu had multiple vegan options available, and I had the vegan sausage and mash (comes with two bangers and gravy) while my mam had swordfish steak. Maybe a little spenny for the quality but pleasant nonetheless. Beer selection was impressive and the atmosphere (at least on a Friday night) was great. Would definitely return.
