Sadly in the last 30 mins I must have been run over on the busy Eccleshall road, died and met St Peter at the Pearly Gates. He led me through the gates which read "The Ale Club." Madge was there to greet me in beer heaven.( Opposite is Hell .. Lounge 418 where bad people go!#@!£.) Wondeful real ale selection. Three breweries new to me so had to have a pint from each. All helped with sausage roll, mustard and some really country "country" music. Lovely interior. Started with a bitter from local Sheffield brewey The Brew Foundation. Then a pint of Pale Ale from Cornwall's Verdant brewery. Then the Coup de Grace ..a Full Circle Repeater IPA...another hazy beer.. All the Ha'way from Newcastle. Yipee-ky-ay.

Cosy micro-pub, nicely and quirkily decorated one-room bar with a good selection of real ales. Very popular on the early April Friday night we visited, and a lot warmer once the front door was shut. We stayed for several beers then went across the road to Maranello's Italian Restaurant (also excellent).

Favourite pub in Sheffield! Cool decor, great range of beers on tap/pump which are regularly rotated as well as a good selection of bar snacks. Staff are really helpful, friendly and know a lot about the beer they have on.

Such a hidden gem of a pub, if you are a fan of craft ale and real ale this is the place to be. With a bottle shop that has over 130 beers and 6 keg lines that change weekly coupled with cask lines that changes just as frequently. Why wouldn't you? Great service and a quirky decor, it's a smashing place for a quick pint or the whole night.
