   My car had engine trouble and I needed it sorted urgently as I was due to be driving to Scotland two days later. I called into GMS motors on Saturday afternoon on the off chance that someone might be there , as I was panicking about the car engine light staying on and my car had lost its power. I had used GMS before when they passed my old campervan MOT. Luke appeared and the garage was actually closed. He saw I was upset and reassured me by running a check on the fault checking system. He found the fault was a clogged diesel filter. He said to come back on the Monday morning the next day , just before I was due to drive to Scotland. After a couple of attempts he managed to resolve the problem with his machine and it regenerated and unblocked the filter. Took about half an hour. He was very busy , but he kept his promise and took the time out to sort my car out. It now drives like a racing car with so much more power. A knowledgeable mechanic who went the extra mile to help when I was desperate. Definitely recommend Luke

   Awful!! Called up didn’t answer the phone so they called me back. Which is good only id called a few garages with no answer this morning and when I asked him which garage he was he told me oh forget it and put the phone down on me. When u genuinely just wanted to book a car in for a MOT and service. I have honestly never ever come across anything quite like it in my life very very weird behaviour. Fancy telling a customer to forget it as they asked which garage you are as I don’t recall which one it was. Weirdo

   Having read the derogatory reviews, I am utterly lost for words. I popped in this morning at 08.45am on my way to work on the estate, to book my car in next week for mot. Steve the proprietor was able to get it done today . I really wasn't expecting it to be done today so was very pleased. My car passed with no advisories and I collected it at lunchtime. I found both Steve and Luke truly decent hardworking guys and have a lovely friendly approach. The business is in ideal location for all businesses locally and I would strongly suggest that anyone reading this review, ignore the previous negative comments. Having met both guys for the first time and not from this area, I would highly recommend their services, their friendly approach and professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending this business and I will certainly be using GMS Motors in the future.Thank you both.
