This review is for Talal you accommodated me as a customer in the best possible way. He politely spent considerable time (in the course of a few visits) to help me find the right shoe. It seems that Clarksβ shoes are not the perfect fit for me (their size differ from other brandsβ sizes and, although I bought a pair I am not sure yet of their comfort; it will show in the next period).

Chad at Clarkβs Watford was fantastic! He was so patient and friendly while sizing our toddler for their very first pair of shoes. He took the time to make sure the fit was perfect and helped us choose a style that works for both comfort and growing feet.

Clarks Watford. Staff appeared to view customers as an inconvenience, much more interested in what each other were doing and what one had in a carrier bag. Staff standing around disinterested and chatting to each other. Had to ask twice if someone could serve us. Knowledge of staff suboptimal, all too much of an effort to engage with customers. A new low in shoe shopping.

Awful customer service. My husband went yesterday and left because of how badly he was treated. I went today and it was the same. Staff looked annoyed the moment I walked in, no greeting, no help. I asked to measure my sonβs feet β he was asleep but seated in the stroller, just like another girl who had just been measured. The staff refused with zero effort. I also asked about a shoe size and was told they didnβt have it and she just walked away from me. I checked the Clarks website β the exact shoe was available in my sonβs size at this very Watford store. Right after, I went to Schuh and the difference was huge. Warm greeting, three staff members offered help, and they measured my sonβs feet with no issue, even though he was still asleep. I left happy and with shoes.

If I could give zero stars for our experience today , I would!! Visited the Watford Clarkes today, with my daughter and 2 grandchildren. My daughter brought a pair of shoes for her daughter 2 months ago, she has previously brought exact same shoes for her daughter twice before, as she'd loved them so much This particular pair, the velcro has shredded, so they don't stay fastened, so my daughter after reading Clarkes policy on faulty goods, thought she'd take them in to store to show them, and get a resolution. Well that was a daft assumption on our part!!! A lady called Anne, who informed us was the store manager was so beyond rude to my daughter. Measured my grandaughters feet and said the reason why the shoes have done that is because her feet have grow. Absolute rubbish!!! Her feet were measured in the same store only 2 months ago and even if her feet had grown, it didn't change the fact that the shoes were substandard. Anne absolutely refused to do anything about it, just shrugged her shoulders and no apology just said" nothing I can do" She was so incredibly rude, and kept talking over my daughter, she wouldn't listen to her!! My daughter worked in the children's shoe industry for Gordan Scott's for many years, so knows exactly how to measure a foot, and the shoes she had for her daughter still had growing room in, but Anne refused to put the faulty shoes on to see that that was the case. Honestly, unfortunately, I had to leave to take my grandson to the toilet, otherwise I would have really pulled up Anne's behaviour and attitude towards my daughter,. My daughter left very upset without any resolution, she's not a confrontational person at all, but said she felt so angry. There needs to be some serious customer training done in this store, and the staff, particularly the store manager needs to be acquainted with your stores returns of faulty goods policy, and how to speak to customers. Frankly they have lost a customer of many years today!!! As neither myself or my daughter would ever buy anything out of that particular store again !!! Just absolutely disappointed and disgusted with how we were treated. Thought more highly of Clarkes than our experience today !!!!!

Visited on Saturday and had a lengthy wait and rushed experience. Visiting at 5pm on a Weds was a definate bonus; super quiet!! We had a broken pair of school shoes, which were returned and exchanged dut to a faulty zip. I had the receipt with me, so was no problem.

I went along at a busy time just after Christmas. Good customer service. But did not have a replacement for a gift perchased before Christmas disappointingly.

This is one of the best Clarks store in Herefordshire. Not the largest but very attentive customer service. We were greeted the moment we stepped in the shop and we managed to get the sizes we wanted.
