This surgery offers the lowest level of care I’ve ever come across, my advice would be not to register or move if you’re a patient. Never wanting to look into problems. Absolutely shocking. Luckily I didn’t require their assistance much in the 7 years as a patient but when I did the service was extremely poor. Avoid at all costs.

Just wanted to say the reception team at this surgery are wonderful, I have never had an issue with them, they are always polite and comforting especially when it takes a lot for someone with my anxiety to ring up. Yes the surgery itself isn't always able to offer what other surgeries can but people need to realise that's down to the funding from the council, not because they choose not to.

Reception staff are unhelpful in the last few years they have become less and less helpful, all the while hiding behind the zero tolerance to anger posture, when they are the very people that cause the anger and frustration, I see no point in them answering the phone because when they do, they do nothing but point to idiotic rules they have created in an effort to "help", help who?

Three times in the past year i have tried to get an appointment and failed using the triage system. The reception just fob you off with a link then no appointment. Why do you have toexplain your symptoms on line . Years ago it was always confidential between you and the doctor. I admit to being a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to modern tech but the triage system will literally be the death of anelderly vulnerable patient. I have asked to move to the farnworth practice which i am told is much better but they declined because i am with this practice. I feel realy depressed with the situation and see no way of moving forward. On a positive note if you require a shingles or flu jab the appointment is not a problem. But you cant book that online . Must be by phone or in person at reception. But doesent the practice get paid for each jab given. Basically i have given up!

Friday 24th Feb outstanding service when called up for appointment (daughter with tonsilitis) she was seen the same day. Today I was seen by the Nurse who was a lovely friendly lady who went out of her way to help. Great polite and very accommodating.

I'm usually as fit as a flea but last week I had shortage of breath for no reason. Phoned the surgery at 4pm, promised a call back later. Within the hour I spoke to a doctor, an appointment was booked for the following morning, I was seen bang on time, had a thorough check up, diagnosis, & briefing about the course of tablets. Getting back to normal now. My treatment was all you would wish for.

I’ve been trying to get through to them to book an appointment for about a week. The one time I did manage to get through I was told there were no appointments available and to try again tomorrow. When I tried again the next day, I again couldn’t get through to them.

We only came here to ask for some help regarding CCTV and honestly, i have never come across a receptionist so rude, entitled and obnoxious. She was more concerned about making us put on face masks before engaging in any form of conversation, she stepped away to ask a manager about CCTV and then asked us to step aside to deal with other customers for us to then be simply told they couldn’t help us 10 minutes later - why not just inform us of that when you returned to reception from asking your manager? While we were waiting she was so bothered about this one gentleman’s mask being over his nose while and mouth while talking to him that she repeatedly couldn’t hear what he was saying and he was essentially sharing his personal business to the whole reception area as to why he was there. I felt so bad for the gentleman, completely unacceptable. This woman needs a masterclass in customer service and should learn how to talk to people in a polite manner minus the chip on the shoulder. After all, judging by the other reviews here it seems to be a regular occurrence! Do better Kearsley Medical Centre.

If I could get away with giving 0 stars I would. As a new member of Kearsley Medical Centre i am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from them today! The receptionist who I came across this morning, at my appointment time was rude! Had the cheek to tell me I was late for my appointment after standing in the que for 5 minutes. Then rolled her eyes at me telling her, I didn’t have a mask. Then to have to go for a health check booked in prior to joining this practice, to have my blood pressure checked only and her staring at me for me to ask ‘are we done’ I must of been in the room not even 2 minutes. Was no health check at all. To then be told my repeat prescription from my old doctors had been sent to the pharmacy across the road (which they wouldn’t repeat the prescription until I saw the lady and had waited over a week for this appointment) to only be more disappointed going into the chemist and not being registered and having no prescription sent over!! Complete utter waste of time and nothing but disappointment! I’ve waited a week for an appointment to still not have my prescription (that I need asap) and to be looked at like you have a TV on your head. No communication and not professional one bit. On the bright side the only lady that’s a credit to the team and has been helpful over the phone is a lady called Jade.
