“My prostate problems arose following a relatively routine eye operation; basically, after the operation, I found I could not urinate. A catheter was fitted and there followed nearly five months under the care of a local NHS hospital with visits to A and E, UTIs, large amounts of blood in the urine, extreme pain, soreness, and such like. At one point I was hospitalised for eight days and an emergency operation was performed to cauterise bleeds from the prostate. Quality of life suffered. Day-to-day tasks became a trial, visits were curtailed and holidays cancelled. Finally, I was referred for a HoLEP procedure under the NHS but, because of the long waiting time and the loss of quality of life I opted for the operation to be performed at Spire Manchester by Mr Matthew Liew. The operation was performed within a few weeks from initial consultation. At that initial consultation, the procedure was thoroughly explained and all my questions answered. I was extremely satisfied with the treatment that I received during all my time at Spire Manchester under Mr Liew's care. Post-op, the staff were kind, attentive and supportive. They explained how the operation had gone and what to expect in the coming days and weeks. My recovery so far has followed what was outlined; blood in the urine ceased after about ten days and incontinence has diminished week by week and although still present it has only been six weeks since the operation; it is manageable and much improved since the early weeks. What has changed is my general quality of life. As my wife said, it's given us our lives back since we must be aware of the impact that this has not just on ourselves but on friends and loved-ones too. We are extremely grateful for everything that Mr Liew and the other staff have done for us and we would highly recommend this route to anyone. If I can add any further detail I would be delighted to do so.”

“We have been seeing Jenny for over 2 years since our son was 8 weeks old. He was born with Spina Bifida, we started going to Jenny to ensure he was meeting all his mobility milestones. Jenny is really experienced and knowledgeable, helped so much with advice, and lots of tasks to practice at home. Seeing Jenny has been one of the best decisions we made. Our son has full mobility and probably would have had anyway however having regular appointments has given us the opportunity to learn how to help his walking journey with confidence and guidance. “Recently purchased a MK8 Golf R, stupidly viewing it over a video call rather than in person then had it delivered. After cleaning it for the first time I noticed quite a lot of hazing on the front of the bonnet, and patches where the paintwork had been touched up. I took it to Ben at Cheshire Car Care, expecting to be told that it would need a respray given how thin the paint was in some areas, but he worked his magic and managed to sort it. I've had a 3-stage detail, with some wet sanding where required, and finished with a ceramic coat. The car looks like new, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've had a few ask where I had the work done and didn't hesitate to recommend Ben. Highly recommended for any elements of car detailing!”

“Overall I always have a good experience at Ethos Dental, excellent Dentist and receptionists, my only small complaint is, sometimes the unavailable waiting time, with people late etc, on my recent visit I was a 09-30 appointment, checked in and sat down waiting, I could see the surgery door open and chatting/laughter coming from there, expecting to be called any minute but no, another guy came in 5 minutes after me, the previous appointment, he went in virtually as he arrived, to my mind he should have been made to wait and I should have been seen before him, so I presume that's why appointments run late. “I started going to Chester Road dental care approximately 2 years ago along with my 3 children (1 x 7 years and 2x 4 year olds). From the start all staff have been kind, welcoming and patient. My dental care has been really straight forward but my 3 children have a bit more challenging. Initially all 3 were nervous and would only stand in the room and not even sit in the chair or open their mouth. Lisa recommended coming every 3 months to slowly build their confidence. We have been doing precisely that and now all 3 sit in the chair, have their teeth checked and even have the fluoride paint on their teeth! We have now moved to 6 monthly check now that they are a lot more comfortable with the process. They all love coming now. Thank you to Lisa and the team for their patience and understanding.”

“Had root canal treatment from Mr Charlesworth. Everyone at the practice was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Can't fault the treatment at all. Mr Charlesworth was very reassuring, before he started he advised me they could adjust how they worked or stop if I had problems. Which made me feel a bit more in control and therefore more relaxed. Once I'd had the injections I found the procedure absolutely fine. Receptionists and the rest of the team all very helpful. Great practice, would recommend.”

I went there yesterday they changed my tires and fixed a puncture for a very good price, and even topped up my oil and screen wash for free.
