Have been with this practice for over 30 years, firstly with Bob Norman, until he retired. Now in the expert hands of Martin Craven. Martin is tremendous. Extremely good with nervous patients. Knowledgeable and caring. The receptionists, dental nurses and hygienists are all very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Having been in more confused than before. Different prices for different dentists and for the dentist taking they couldn't give me prices, advertised on denplan website but don't want to offer denplan and the advertised dentist will only take "recommended customers". Receptionist was bored and more interested in looking at his monitor than talking to a new customer. They may treat their existing customers better, but don't seem to want new customers. Felt like one of those shops with no prices, where if you have to ask your considered too poor to shop there.
My first filling at 33 years old. Over the past few months, I have been having a problem with one of my molars, I had been ignoring it and putting it down to stress. I decided to bite the bullet and get it checked out. Dr Simon carried out a thorough examination and took photographs and an x-ray of the affected tooth so I could see what the problem was. He was very informative and talked me through all the options available. Filling day: I was very nervous on the day of my filling. I had never had a filling before. Simon and his lovely nurse Lucy were very welcoming during the appointment and made me feel at home. Simon talked me through the process before we got started so I knew every step of the way. He talked me through the images he had taken at the assessment and his plan for the tooth. I didn't even feel the injection at all, just the cold air from the suction (and I've had quite a few injections in the past from various health professionals). He isolated the tooth with a rubber sheet, which I have to say was amazing. I could swallow at ease without any horrible tastes, I didn't need to worry about breathing as my mouth wasn't filling up with water and it made the whole process a lot easier. His wonderful nurse Lucy kept checking in on me throughout the appointment (which was really sweet of her). Simon also took detailed photographs of each stage of the treatment. It is safe to say the filling needed doing, he showed me a photograph of the decay inside the tooth, which was pretty gross :-( I am really pleased with my new tooth, it looks amazing, I can barely see where the filling is, he's blended it in so well :-D Reflecting on the advice given during the appointment, I have changed my diet and gotten rid of the bar of galaxy caramel I used to eat in the evening, as I don't want any more fillings. I would highly recommend Dr Simon Walker for any filling/restorative work. Thank you for my new tooth :-D

Simon is friendly, professional and explains all treatments clearly. He and the team make you feel welcome and at ease. He uses photographs to enhance explanations and talks through options for your treatment with care. My teeth are now straight, thanks to Simon and an aligner, which took just 12 weeks! I now smile with confidence. He is an exceptional and dedicated dentist, always researching and keeping up to date with dental innovations, treatments and technological advances. Martin is without doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. He is very professional, explains everything clearly, is very patient and gentle, and very considerate regarding patient's comfort and welfare. He is also very friendly with a manner that puts you immediately at ease. My wife had been a patient of Mr Norman for many years and was quite concerned when he retired, but having now been with Martin since he moved to the practice, she thinks he is exceptional. I cannot rate this young man highly enough.
