   I have been a few times to this shop with my mother who is almost 90 for shoes and slippers. The staff are invariably friendly, helpful and patient. They have a wide range of shoes and we always find something suitable even though she has difficult-to-fit feet.

   Excellent friendly service, without being pushy. Will take time to show many shoes, until the customer sees some they like. Have a good selection of styles and quality brands. Yes the prices seem high, but from my experience the shoes will last years longer.

   This is a small shop. Don't expect a vast selection, but they do have good shoes. I ended up buying two pairs as the salesperson offered up what I was looking for, stylish but practical shoes. This is the only good shoe buying experience I have had. Usually struggle to get service let alone good advice.

   I had the best service experience ever in North Finchley with Marwa who brought out 12 boxes of shoes but none suited my orthopaedic needs. In the end, I bought a £9.99 foam cleanser to clean my existing black shoes. That did the trick! Nothing was to much trouble for Marwa and she came up with a solution. Thank you!

   A friendly, covid-restricted experience! However, I was glad to walk out of the shop in my old shoes, comfortably. I tried very hard for several days to wear my new shoes in, but I failed to stop the rubbing on the backs of my heels and toes. They were also slow to wear in to get the grip going on some wet surfaces. They were too small for me, although at the time of fitting they felt great. They did get to grip eventually, but they failed to loosen up. I do not think the shop will be prepared to change them for me for the right size, when the shop eventually opens properly, but I will try. If they don't I will put this issue down to an uncomfortable covid experience, and write the whole issue off, destined for the diary entry only. No ill-feelings then? Nah, just sore feet and a hole in my pocket.
