I booked through day stay for the Mrs birthday. The price I had it wasn't to be missed for a morning /afternoon including breakfast and lunch. Upon arrival, the receptionist decided otherwise and refused to give us a token for both meals. I've explained that nothing to do with me as I had an offer and I pre booked, no further details or correspondence following the booking process, therefore, I expect to dine in and you sort it later, why d'you want ruin the surprise? He wasn't having it and proceed with the rejection. We sat down to have breakfast, the dinning area wasn't clean and full of fruit fly and other flys, which shows the poor food hygiene in the dinning area. I wasn't happy and as we were checking out, I've raised it up again with Ben, I was given an email to the hotel manager who I emailed the following day. I'm writing this review in December when I never heard from the hotel manager since January. I don't recommend it this place.

I booked Leonardos for a girlie stay; went to see Tina Turner story at Palace theatre. A short taxi ride away, 10 minutes depending om traffic. As check in as 3pm, when we arrived, we had drinks while we waited. Quick check in, simple instructions. Room was spacious, plenty of towels & pillows. Great view of the city. Bed was comfy. Room hot but could have adjusted temp controls, if I had thought at the time. Breakfast, we decided the following morning to indulge. £10pp; hot and cold drinks, pastries, cereals to start and hot food buffet style. Excellent! Set us up for the day. Swift check out by handing on the key card. Would definatley stay again.

Overall experience was pleasant. Small issue with our room which was quickly resolved by staff. Ben on reception the night manager is brilliant really goes above and beyond! Also when checking in Mia was so busy and remained so calm, courteous & professional. Would highly recommend Will stay here again

This was a nice hotel close to Manchester Piccadilly station. I parked in the long stay car park attached to the station and this hotel was really close by and didn’t take long to walk. The tram station is directly opposite and we used the trams to get to the Co-Op Live Arena. This was really easy! Breakfast was really great and had a very good selection. The late checkout was a welcomed addition to the stay.

Nice looking hotel but surrounded by building sites and roadworks which means an early morning wake up whether you want it or not. Restaurant not serving full range of food as the hotel wasn't busy enough apparently so as a client you don't matter. Pity they don't make you aware of this when you book. Also beware the square toilet seats probably the most uncomfortable thing ever invented, style over practicality.

A lovely hotel, but just a little bit off the beaten track and let down by nearby building works. The room was lovely and clean, a standard double room, but was a little small and the toilet seat slightly damaged. The bed was as comfy as I've come to expect from Leonard's, the blackout curtains really made for a great night's sleep and the waterfall shower was great. The staff in the reception were also very helpful, and provided me with a free jug of water when requested from the bar after midnight as they had no still water available to buy.

Fantastic stay! Great clean and comfortable. We stayed for our anniversary and went in to the room to find lots of lovely treats and a bottle of bubbly! The staff are all brilliant too, thanks to all at the Leonardo Manchester

The beds are amazing! It's all super nice and clean as a result. The rooms are great to a point. Unfortunately, the service leaves A LOT to be desired. Asked for towels two and they just never arrived! And the shower gel etc wasn't filled. The location is great (new and upcoming part of Manchester) and again the beds were the best beds I've ever slept on. But a lot of room to improve.

It's a bit of a trek from the station (10 min walk) as it's slightly out of town but the hotel itself was lovely. The room was a decent size and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It does have a gym but this was a small fitness centre and can feel crowded once you have more than 2 people inside. The wellness centre was a nice touch too
