Absolutely superb. Way better than envisaged - room a good size, we had a double and a single bed, bathroom really good and modern with bath and shower, room warm on a cold night, nicely tucked away and secure. 10 out of 10.
Room was lovely, comfortable bed, big TV, lots of storage and space, large shower with excellent water pressure, location was very remote and due to working I never got to appreciate the view as dark when i left and dark when i returned, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again though. A mini fridge in room would have been a brilliant addition.
Very good communication regarding gluten free breakfast options lead to this booking. After our visit we would certainly come back. We had a lovely clean, warm and comfortable room with a powerful shower. In the breakfast room there were 3 different gluten free cereals and an unopened packet of muffins too as well as yoghurt options, fruit and cheese. Thank you for a great stay
Peaceful and Picturesque setting Spacious, comfortable and warm room with a large ensuite. Walk-in shower has good water pressure. Very easy check-in Breakfast room also has beautiful views and a very comprehensive continental breakfast for the price. Would definitely stay here again.
Been to Fernhill Hotel twice now and its really good value for money if you need to stay in and around Manchester, you will ideally need a car though as it's situated in a remote farm area, which does mean it is very quiet! The rooms are nice and are a mixture of modern and traditional, the main bedroom and desk are made from wooden and are of an older style, no issue with it though everything functions as needed. The bathroom/shower puts many mainstream hotels to shame, very modern styled bathroom, the shower has great water pressure and even has a heated towel rack, the only minor downside is there is a lack of an area to put toiletries other than the sink. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money.
Fernhill is very clean, with a huge comfortable bed, really homely relaxed place in the best spot next to beautiful open countryside. Great walks right outside your door. Close to shops etc. Jackie Dz. Oz.
Really comfortable and clean. Nice quiet breakfast room. Everything there. Great area for a good hike and some peace.
I regularly stayed when working near by and the rooms are very spacious and homely. The area is very quiet, which overlooks Rochdale. It is lovely to see the horses in their stables in the morning. The breakfast provided has a wide variety of choice. The service of the owner is excellent and when I left something in the room, it was posted out to me.
What a beautiful, B & B stayed here due to having a funeral in the area and well wish I was staying longer than a night. Beautiful location up on the moors, with beautiful views to go with it. Quite and tranquil setting to relax. Amazing night sleep, didn’t want to get up. Will be staying here again if in the area.
Stopped in 3 different rooms here now all have amazing bathrooms comfy beds warm and spotlessly clean. Location is probably best you will get in the area easy to get too but rural and quiet countryside. I tried to think of something negative to say but honestly I can't fault the place for the pricepoint.
