Used this garage as my car was displaying a check engine light, mechanic was very friendly and I was told later on the same day I needed a part. They got the part very fast and fitted it. I am extremely happy with the service and the advice the mechanic gave me! Will definitely be returning and this is now my go to garage.
Great service, never disappointed (except about there being something wrong with the car) when I need to go. Friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to explain the problem, cause, and future expected issues. Informed of estimated cost before work is done, and never overcharged or billed for unnecessary additionals. A little sad to give such a great review but only because I know it will mean I'll have to wait that little bit longer in the future due to the extra business, although it'll be worth it. Once you start using Silcoates garages you'll never go anywhere else.
Went there recently for just an oil change and was very impressed. Mark was very accommodating and booked me in a day where I could wait for the job to be done. The garage is reasonably priced also and was cheaper than some others in the Wakefield area. I will definitely give them another try.
