I felt really looked after by the guys at Wakefield mot centre. Fairly priced quick turn around and they even took the time to show me what parts hard worn out on me. Il defo use them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone with a motor :) Thanks again for all your help Jim

Avoid at all costs. Went for a re gas and they advised me that condenser had a leak and needed replacing and possibly AC pressure sensor switch. They fitted the condenser and the air con still didn’t work and told me to bring the car back for the switch to be replaced. Arranged to bring the car in 2 times after and got fobbed off and told to bring back another day as they were ‘too busy’ and nobody in as they had to sack some mechanic. Finally got the car in today for the switch replacing. Got told it was replaced and was working, then arrived back at the garage and told it wasn’t working and that it needed an auto electrician to look at this. Through my disappointment as I had already spent £310 on repairs, I took to an independent garage and they said the AC Pressure switch was never changed. And they had absolutely bodged the new condenser in, all the plastic clips had been snapped off and is not properly secure. Another garage fit a new pressure sensor and now the air con works fine. The old sensor has marks on it where it looks like it has been taken off with pliers rather than a ratchet or spanner when they had to take the old condenser off. Absolute cowboys. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

Avoid Wakefield MOT Center – They Will Damage Your Car Wakefield MOT is not a trustworthy mechanic—it’s a complete scam. I took my car there for a routine service, and instead of getting my car back in good condition, they ended up damaging it. What’s worse they don’t even care. I pay £600 service for a damaged car. THEY DON’T CARE IN THE SLIGHTEST WHATSOEVER!! They claimed to have done a fuel treatment and engine flush as part of the service. However, shortly after, my car started showing fuel injector problems and engine failure errors that it never had before. Clearly, something went very wrong during their so-called “service.” I now have to deal with the fallout of their shoddy work and am left with a car in much worse condition than when I first brought it in. This garage is fraudulent and does more harm than good. I strongly urge you to avoid Wakefield MOT Center. If you value your car and your money, stay far away from this place. They will only cause you more headaches and costly repairs.

Avoid this place for topping up car conditioner, cause after they touched my car, the conditioner was damaged. Even staff member was nervous when I came back to tell what is happened after them work and all he and his boss could say was it is happening sometimes after topping up, conditioner pump gets damaged. I will never ever use and trust these kind of small garages.
