I have used this hotel several times before a morning flight from Manchester Airport. It's a good hotel, you always get a friendly welcome, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The only drawback is the excessive light that gets into the room from outside, even when the curtains are closed. This needs to be corrected.

Wonderful guest service. Amir Hamza at the reception is a real gem. Most friendly and amazing person. He guided me to the room and accommodated me when I checked in at 10.30pm. Hotel has some great features amd I decided to stay here for another week.

Old hotel that is in need of an upgrade. There were signs of the old hotel in the small sitting area above reception it would be a shame of all that old character disappeared altogether. Very big, spacious room, bed was comfortable, and bathroom had all the usual facilities. Shower quite old and noisy when working. Didn't try the breakfast, although thought it odd that a Full English came with a choice of bacon or sausage. Surely a Full English Breakfast needs both?

I have used this hotel many times I have stayed there with my family. It is always pleasant, accommodating and clean The staff have always been attentive and courteous and accommodating even when we have had to book in very late at night. The breakfast very good as well. I will look forward to staying there again.

The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.

Rooms were Grubby and hallways smelled of cigarettes and fish. Reception and welcome was terrible. Asked for another room and it was much the same and hallway smelt bad. Didn't stay and lost our money. Booked Ibis Budget at short notice, which was infinitely better in all ways. xxx AVOID this place xxx

By the other reviews it's good for a one night stay. Stayed here recently for 4 nights while working in altrincham ..room was never serviced once in the whole week . Seems there is only a 2 coffee a week ration and your bed never needs to be made..your only renting space . On the good side it was quiet

Unhelpful staff, toilet was leaking so I asked to change rooms & the staff made me feel like I was causing ww3. The exterior is falling apart & there’s a skip which is overflowing right outside the building leading to our room. The dust in the rooms are terrible, god forbid you get the bottom floor because you can’t open the windows without being greeted to overgrown hedges flaunting into your room. Also apparently got a complaint but I wasn’t aware until I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable the next morning when I was checking out. If someone complained to the staff about my noise level, why didn’t any of the staff come and tell me straight away? The microwave & fridge in the room is the only unique thing about this place.

We paid £201.60 for a 2 night stay (no breakfast) and we were out in the outbuilding bit. The outside left a lot to be desired, but the inside was totally shocking, our room was dark and damp and the carpets were not only fifthy but sticky as well, it was absolutely disgusting and we will certainly not be staying there again.

Very affordable, last-minute booking turned out so well. Warm, cleans rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Such a pretty location and a short walk to the tram station that takes you right into the city. Would stay again.
