“Amazing spa hotel that caters so well for families. We come here every christmas and the atmosphere is so warm and festive The whole place is super clean and smells so nice too. we never eat there other than the snacks and coffee. The facilities are amazing and the bedroom is so spacious.”

Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. Promote him very soon, or I'll be honest you are missing a trick here , and definetly do not let him move to another hotel. Danny was kind , warm so so welcoming & answered every question I had promptly & efficiently. “I booked this hotel on behalf of my family members visiting my wife and I from Ireland. They stayed two nights and were pleased with everything the hotel provided them. The room was very clean with comfortable beds for two ladies and one child.”

“We stayed here with out 4 children for a few nights due to work being done at our home. I can honestly say the staff that work here are absolutely incredible. They made our stay so easy & couldn’t do enough! From prepping a high chair at meal times before we even came down to making paper aeroplanes with our son & making them fly! The staff here genuinely make the place and I honestly can not thank them enough! The rooms were perfect very large (we had 2 family rooms) VERY clean.”

“The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.”

“Our two boys loved their first stay at Canine Clubhouse! They were so happy and content when we collected them. We had been using the same kennels for over 20 years but sadly they have recently closed, so finding another one to meet our high expectations has been a challenge but Canine Clubhouse is just perfect! Thy are already looking forward to their next stay with Emma :)”

“Cannot recommend the Dogs & Divas doggy daycare service and cat sitting service enough! Our dog loves playing at doggy daycare with all the other dogs and the staff are extremely friendly. We have also used the cat sitting service which is more preferable for our cat than a cattery and he got so much love and attention from Dawn and the team on his daily visits.”

“I had a great stay here. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I asked for cheese to have for breakfast and they brought me some. The breakfast basket they provided contained some nice items. I had a one day stay for business. Booking was through our corporate system. I managed to park on premises, no issues as the site is safe. Upon leaving they requested payment, I mentioned that the corporate booking company would settle, and offered to leave my details in case of issues, they appreciated this. No problems whatsoever. I'd definitely stay again when visiting Manchester for business. If there's one thing I would like them to improve is the breakfast offering. There's a fridge in the room, please offer slices of cold cuts such as cheese and ham along with bread and butter, you don't need to leave these items in the fridge for every guest but I do believe you should have them on demand if requested. I was provided two small blocks of cheese rather than slices, I was happy to have the cheese but I was unable to have a "proper" breakfast sandwich of buttered bread with cheese and ham slices... a chunky block of cheese does not taste very good in the middle of a huge piece of bread.”

“A rare gem of a B&B! Firstly, driving into Hayfield offers some fantastic views of the Peak District. Millie's is conveniently located right in the centre with plenty of parking outside and around that is free. We never struggled to find a space. Rukiya is very welcoming and kept in touch leading up to our visit and on the day of with lots of useful information and to keep in communication with us. She was there to greet us at the door and showed us to our room - Twenty Trees. The room was lovingly decorated with a cute view of the trail leading to Kinder Scout over the top of some roofs. Millie's is ideally located for many things. There is Sett Valley Trail conveniently located a stones throw away as well as the Kinder Scout trail. We also travelled 20mins and visited Castleton for the Speedwell Cavern (really cool) and Mam Tor hike. Lyme Park is not far either and there's also Buxton and Bakewell. Rukiya is by far my favourite ever host at a B&B - I have stayed at a fair few! She really loves what she does and that passion shines through. Her breakfast dishes were all freshly made and so delicious as well as the coffee and sweet treats. The sausages were divine. We also bought some chocolates to take home and try. Thank you Rukiya for your outstanding service. We're now planning to return soon for afternoon tea with family so we can try all of her delicious bakes too! This has to be booked in advance though so bare that in mind. She's constantly booked up for the B&B so I advise you book early to avoid disappointment and direct for the best prices. The tea room is only open on the weekends. During the weekday, Rukiya has breakfast service for B&B guests only. She can also make sandwiches for packed lunch for hikes with prior notice. Can't wait to visit again and also congratulations on being the only halal B&B in the whole of the Peak District. Millie's is welcoming to everyone. The outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and I'm so glad I have finally visited after waiting 3 whole years!”

“I cannot recommend Dogz Club enough! We got our little Dachshund just as we entered the first lockdown, so there was inevitable anxiety around a lack of socialising, but DC has ensured our pup is so confident and happy around other dogs. The staff are so attentive and update me with honest feedback whenever I ask for it. The picture/video updates during the day of all the dogs having fun, regular themed parties throughout the year and goody bags are all examples of extra touches which makes this such a great day-care. “Incredible creativity with high end durable long lasting thick materials. Enrichment is clearly the goal of every product and you can really tell they have thought like a bunny with the design. I have many pods and they have all lasted years. Proud to support a small start up of two devoted to high animal welfare and inclusiveness of disabled/head tilt buns in their design. A hutch is not enough @riobunnyhop !!”

“We had the best camping trip for two nights, toilets and showers were clean and the showers were nice and hot. With gorgeous views, it really was very relaxing where the children had full use of the open field. The owners were helpful and once checked in, we were left to our own devices. There's pubs and parks all within a 5 minute drive away and a big tesco round the corner too. It is just a shame you can't have camp fires as that would have made the evenings that bit better with smores. But regardless we would still definitely revisit again. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“My husband and I have just spent 7 lovely nights here. It was easy to book with Matthews help and to check in with Colins help. The building and grounds are spotless with ongoing touches to the interior and exterior eg planting by gardeners etc and recent paint job. The bed, bedclothes , towels, shower, loo, even loo rolls n washing up liquid, tv, microwave n kettle, bedside light etc were all pretty good and most importantly the fire doors and signage made us feel safe.”
