I stay here quite often as I work in the building opposite. This is by far the worst stay I have had. The room had a double bed and two singles even though we only needed a double. We were in room 107. We arrived late after a night flight so didnt check in until 12.30am. The keycard didnt work for the room so we ended up using one of the master keys. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed as there were bits on it and the smell of the room was disgusting! It smelt like damp and stale. The two single beds looked like they had been used. The double bed was comfortable but the following morning I couldn’t bring myself to have a shower in the room I just wanted to get out of there. The other rooms I’ve stayed in have always been okay. The aircon/heating didn’t work but we did have a plug in heater.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge in Manchester Sale and was genuinely impressed. The hotel has clearly undergone a renovation, and you can really tell — everything felt fresh, modern, and comfortable. The upgraded windows were a big bonus too, keeping the room peaceful and quiet despite being close to a main road. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Karen, Jackie, Jane and Mark were exceptionally friendly and hospitable throughout my stay. They always greeted me with a smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. I regularly stay in Travelodges up and down the country, and this one was by far the friendliest I’ve experienced. Top marks to the whole team — they really made my stay! I’ll definitely be returning.

It's a Travelodge, but a good one. I was pleasantly surprised, I've stayed in some not so good travellodges, but this is a good one. The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable and we slept well. The guy on reception was truly lovely. The room cleaner was lovely. Parking was easy. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed here with out 4 children for a few nights due to work being done at our home. I can honestly say the staff that work here are absolutely incredible. They made our stay so easy & couldn’t do enough! From prepping a high chair at meal times before we even came down to making paper aeroplanes with our son & making them fly! The staff here genuinely make the place and I honestly can not thank them enough! The rooms were perfect very large (we had 2 family rooms) VERY clean.

Stayed at Sales at end of July for 4 nights. Firstly the room we were supposed to be in, when we entered the room it smelt badly and was not even cleaned. It looked like the room had been missed and beds just slept in. The reception once I told them did give me another key for the family room next door. This room was clean. Bathroom smelt very pongy and musty though. Beds are comfortable and room side was decent. Then the problem started the AC started dripping water . I told housekeeping . Who put a towel to catch the dripping and noise. He did come back and stated we could move our room, but my family and myself were not prepared and upset the children again. So we just put up with the dripping for 4 nights!!. Location is good as near Trafford Shopping Centre and motorway. Staff are friendly and do tey to help if they can. But for the price that I paid it was not worth the hassle.

What a great value for £28! Clean room, Clean bathroom, comfy bed, and a great location. coffee and kettle in the room. Free parking just 17 min drive to city center. Didn't buy the wifi so no comments. Central AC had a creaky fan though:-)

Our stay was excellent, clean room comfortable bed, and quiet. Reception team were amazing and super helpful and polite. Shona and Tracey I think they were called, couldn't do enough but they could of used another set of hands at happy hour. We stayed 4/2/23 and we would book again

The quietest 3 nights sleep I've experienced, however, I stayed in an accessible room on the third floor, it does need some attention, the carpet, and the wet room shower do not present as I would hope or expect, definitely needs some attention! The staff however, were lovely!

Plenty of free parking, just make sure you park in a space with a 'T' on it and enter your registration at reception. The room was a good size and on the whole very clean, however the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied since the last people and had sanitary products in it. The shower pressure & temperature were very good, however you had to get the shower head wedged into the right position otherwise it just went back towards the wall and leaked all over the floor. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has its own café/bar. Food was served until 9.30pm and the bar was open until 5am. Very accommodating to dog owners and had enough space out the front to walk them about a bit, just on concrete rather than a grassy area. Would stay here again if passing.
