“Lovely hotel, top notch leisure facilities. Rooms could be a bit larger (king size bed but not a lot of room after that), and wine pricy at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic, very tasty, wish I could have e had two each day but can't eat that much :-). Helpful and friendly staff, could t do enough to help, thanks folks”

“From the moment I stepped in, this place just felt welcoming. An actual key for the room gave it a charming, personal touch you don’t often see anymore. Free parking, free WiFi, and a bed so comfortable I nearly missed checkout – all at a price that’s hard to beat. The building may be older, but it’s clearly loved and cared for, and it shows. A special mention to Carla, who I spoke to in the morning – she was outstanding. Passionate about the local area and genuinely invested in guests having a great time, she’s a real asset to the business. If she worked at my company, it would be a better place. Any future visits to Manchester – this will be my go-to hotel.”

“Stayed over Thursday night and had a very cosy and hospitable stay. We ate there today and the food was exceptional with great portion sizes. We were very impressed. “Newgate has been a second home to my dogs now for over 15 years. The team are truly exceptional and geniunely care for all the animals. On my last visit, Ludo cried with excitment when we arrived and ran in not to be seen until I collected him. He has his groom there too and Jenny does a fantastic job”

“We got married at Rylands Farmhouse in May and we couldn’t recommend it enough. From our first viewing of the venue to the morning after our wedding the service provided was second to none. The staff went above and beyond for us at every opportunity and nothing was too much to ask. Our wedding guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Luis was with us from the beginning and throughout our whole wedding day and he was absolutely amazing! He made sure that everything was perfect for us and we can’t thank him enough! We can’t wait to revisit for every anniversary in future! Thank you Rylands x”

“The place is located a few meters from a nice pub and a communitie coffee shop ... Andrew welcomed me and he was very helpful and kind. The bathroom is big and very very clean. I loved that each room has the name of a famous person, I stayed at the Bruce Willis jaja. 5 minutes from the airport and very comfortable too.”

“Rented two different properties in 2 years with easy rent and had no issues at all. Any time there was a problem with something at the house(s), someone would always be out the next day to sort it out, the garden was taken care of and the people we dealt with at the agency like Phil and Simon who we usually saw at the house were really nice and friendly. I’d definitely recommend easy rent.”

“Seemed to have got lucky as my room seemed to be one of the better condition rooms and not as described on some other reviews. Comfortable, clean with a nice bright bathroom. It was one of the rooms on the same floor as the reception. Ask for a room on that floor! No lifts however and the reception itself is on the 1st floor. The staff help to carry your cases up. Overall great value for money as a stopover hotel after a late flight in from Manchester airport.”

“Absolutely brilliant. If you are flying from Manchatten airport port. It's less expensive than booking the airport parking. Only slight downside. For a 6 am flight the shuttle bus doesn't run until 3:00 am. Even then veezu is around 20 quid.”
