   Great location, easy to walk to Fulshaw shops and into Wilmslow. Good cooked breakfast. Room was clean and power points conveniently placed. TV worked well and had lots of channels. Gave room a '4' rather than 5 because a little dated, but it was everything I needed and a good price.

   Absolutely fantastic place to lay your head for the night! The reviews off other individuals are very uncalled for! Very clean & host is very welcoming! Great value for money, great location and an exceptional breakfast! The beds are so comfy and the bar is a great place to be with an upbeat and comfortable atmosphere! Also great value for money! & the Thia restaurant next door makes this place exceptional! Keep up the good work! Will definitely stay again!

   Back to the way pubs used to be, there was a real sense of welcome on arrival, and also a lot of looks from the locals as I was a new face. I instantly got talking to the guy on the stool next to me followed by another local who also seemed keen to socialise. Quite a few in the big room watching football, a few people to the sides reading books and the papers. The fact its attached to a restaurant lends itself to staying for that extra drink, and taking a meal home to appease the wife! Really nice bar and environment, it's back to how pubs used to be, makes a really refreshing change.

   Small, basic room. However, spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious full English breakfast. Five minute walk into quaint high street shops. Perfect for overnight stay before flying out of Manchester. Free overnight parking. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

   Great traditional pub with a good selection of beers. Very warm welcome from the landlord and staff. The live music from the locals on the Thursday evening was a very welcome bonus. The rooms are clean and warm and the attached Thai restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be back soon.

   Called in for a quick drink mid afternoon so very difficult to judge fairly when the pub was completely dead with a bell on the bar to summon staff.( This looks to be the normal during the day). Google had seemed to indicate the pub did food all day but definitely not the case! 17.30 onwards is my suggestion to try mid week. Pint of Dizzy Blonde on good form, outside seating comfortable with big canopies providing shade.
