   Great venue in the town centre, the only criticism being that while being spotlessly clean, the toilets were small with room only for 3 (in the gents) resulting in a queue.

   I guess the company has not paid the bill, again! No food, no drink, no music, however, one bag of crisps and a handful of nuts, wow, what a scrumptious offering! If your looking for entertainment this is the place to be, i.e. Faulty Towers! If your desperate for a drink, cut it short with "what have you got" as its easier than asking what they haven’t. This is a prime example as to how not to run a public house and indeed shows the inadequacy of the business owner's. This boozer used to be a people hub, good crack, good drinks, food etc although it's really gone too, well, I'm sure you can make your own assumptions. It's such a shame as the staff are keen to want the establishment to strive and be successful however without the basics i.e. drink and food how can you run a pub! This lot couldn't run a tap! Do us all a favour and hand back the keys before Court Enforcement shuts the place for good! Please Note! Photographs are from previous visits not today!

   Went in for some drinks and was planning to get dinner. The bar staff were very rude. In particular a girl called Amy… There was people commenting about her at the bar as well. Doubt we will be coming here again. It’s a shame as used to visit quite frequently…

   Lovely pub in Knutsford. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful food. I had sausages and mash with onion rings and it was lush. The sausages nicely spiced, real onions in batter and a fantastic lumpy mash that had real potatoes in it and definitely not from a packet like so many pub mashes. Definitely recommend.

   We make this a regular stop on our way from Manchester to London. However, over the years it has turned into a sport bar and while we got a lovely welcome today, the service was really poor. Poor lad needed more training and confidence in serving. There was quite a wait for the food (the roast was great, but the king prawns were just awful). I hadn't the energy to send them back and complain, but they really were a disappointment. It's a shame as it's a lovely spot and very convenient for us as we head back home on our 3+ hour journey.

   Boothroyd was sad that the White Bear had no real ale so came here. Choice of Black Sheep or Landlord..chose a nice pint of the later. Large open plan pub also doing food. Pleasant on a quiet Wed lunch. Beer garden to rear. £9.60 for my pint and a pint of Dark Fruits for Booth bear.

   Called in for lunch, what a surprise. Hake on a bed of mashed potato surrounded by a butter sauce with mussels and prawns. My other half had the best steak sandwich and chips. Meals were served by the staff Adrianne and Ashley really looked after us. Will definitely return when in the area it was a genuine find.
