“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. My pug loves going, I have a pint she has some biscuits!”

“Today, I had the opportunity to visit this traditional Greek tapas bar, which I’ve often come across on social media. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our reserved table. The staff’s professionalism and attentiveness were evident from the outset, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The service was seamless, with the team demonstrating a deep knowledge of the menu and offering helpful recommendations. The selection of tapas we ordered reflected the authentic flavours of Greek cuisine. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and the freshness of the ingredients was noticeable. Overall, the flavours were well-balanced and met our expectations. The only minor drawback was that the calamari was slightly saltier than I would have preferred, but this did not significantly detract from the overall experience. By Manchester standards, this restaurant delivers a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, both in terms of taste and service. “Excellent micro tap bar inside the indoor market hall. Lovely bar spread across 3 market units of space inside Tommyfield indoor market hall, very cosy and comfy little bar. Good choices of alcohol/ale's, Drink prices are really good value and not expensive at all! Friendly bar staff and lovely customers who seem to very chatty and welcoming. You can easily strike up good conversation in this bar and make new friends. This place is very much welcomed in the indoor market hall bringing new customers and faces to a part of the market hall that was a bit empty, Please support this little bar and visit Cob and Coal.”

“29/07/23: spent a lot of time in Chorlton Green as a kid, but this is my first time here with wife and dog. A great combo. Good bar, small choice of craft ale but fantastic atmosphere, great view, friendly staff. Could be in some sunny Europeans bar!! Definitely worth a visit!! Ordered the Picasso Box for food from Truth Box Kitchen. Was great and filling! Chicken strips, mac n cheese, fries, corn on the cob, chicken wings!”

There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”
