   I’m a young, first-time mum, and at the end of August I went to the Clarks store to buy autumn shoes for my baby. My child had already been walking for about a month and a half, but the shop assistant sold me pre-walking shoes and told me that was what my child needed – without even asking how long he had been walking. My baby wore those shoes for more than a month, and only later another Clarks assistant explained that at this stage he should have been wearing shoes with a firmer sole for proper support. I’m very disappointed, especially because so many of my friends recommended Clarks for professional fitting and advice. With my next child, I’ll be more experienced – but I definitely won’t be returning to this store again.

   Very bad experience in this store. I tried to make a return today. Was less than 14 days today and a manager Sanjoy or something like this was very rude with me. He said I should come tomorrow again because I told him I wear it for less than 1 hour in my house to see how are, and the black colour printed on my skin. And he can t help me with the return and I should come back tomorrow when is coming another manager. He didn’t even want to listen to me. Very rasist!!!!

   The day I walked in Ilford Clarks hoping to get some comfortable smart wear shoes, a staff member offered me a lovely discount and 2 pairs with essentials. The day I wore the shoes I was in HUGE PAIN from all parts of my feet. The staff claimed that she had two pairs of her own and it doesn’t hurt her feet, “special person”. She lied and said if there is any problem with the shoes, do come back within 30 days. She didn’t do anything to help with my refund, instead she than tried to make me buy another item. In fact she lied again and said “I took the shoes to my manager and she said there’s nothing wrong with them” first of all, she didn’t take the shoes to her manager as they were still sitting there on the counter Miss liar. Also, I never said there was anything wrong with them except from the part I was lied to about the shoes, for example once my feet start to fit in the shoes than they will feel better. The staff also mentioned how Clark’s lie about their products while laughing when serving me. Don’t make the same mistake I did and don’t be fooled by staff who just wish to impress the managers by sales and not their customers by luck. #ILFORD #CLARKS

   Excellent store. Immediately, when I entered the store I was asked what I needed and taken over to the section where the boys shoes were on display. The ones I requested were not available but the sales rep brought over several similar styles as well as plimsols which I didn't consider- very thoughtful! Ended up buying school shoes and plimsols.
