We stayed here as a group when we went to see the spice girls a few years ago. It was fine for what we needed it for. Took a while to get in as there was no one there and we hadn't been given a door code. The place could do with updating but overall was fine for our 1 night stay

Booking confirmed and paid for but when we got there it was no longer a guest house. It was a mess and unkept, rubbish everywhere, grounds over grown and people living in the guest house. Apparently it stopped being a guest house over a month ago but OYO still kept our money and told us nothing. We were also told another couple had arrived earlier that evening to discover the same thing. We arrived at 10.30pm at night and found we had nowhere to stay. No answer on the contact phone number and there was no where else we could find to stay near the airport, so we ended up trying to sleep in the car. We go no sleep and it was a horrendous start to our holiday. An awful service and awful experience. We will never ever use OYO again and we will certainly avoid using booking.com again. We would advise others to avoid OYO at all costs as they really do leave you On Your Own! As you will see below OYO have an automated response to bad reviews, rather than actually taking time to read and deal with serious problems. It just shows they really do not care about customer service and have no intention of changing or sorting out problems encountered and highlighted by customers. It is a complete joke as it is welcoming us back to a guest house that does not exist. In fact I will go as far as to say they have stolen our money with their con of a guest house. I just hope this extra bit of the review encourages them to actually respond in person.

Edit: Despite OYO's below requests for me to get in touch so they could respond appropriately, they haven't replied at all. So the below comment is clearly nothing but posturing. I've tried writing to OYO directly about the issues, simply looking for an apology and a promise that they'll look into it. They're very difficult to get hold of, won't provide details of a complaints procedure and "couldn't find" my booking in a 5-bedroom guesthouse, despite me giving them the exact dates of my visit, my booking reference and my full name. And now they appear to be ignoring my messages. Here are the main issues we encountered: - Broken drainpipe leaking almost directly in front of the entrance to the building - The room was filthy. I'm talking thick dust bunnies on surfaces, mould in the shower, tea drips over the drawers and surfaces, and more. - The shower didn't work - The sink was severely blocked, taking several hours to drain - The laminate on one of the cupboard doors was loose and came off when we opened the door - The carpet was cut away in places leaving the wooden floor panelling exposed - The carpet tack was exposed in areas (though, admittedly, this was behind the beds where we weren't going to be standing on it) - One of the beds was partially broken and looked as though it would give away at any minute (though I did sleep on it with no issue) OYO has the cheek to describe it as 'luxury' several times on their listings. We knew that's not what we were getting for the price, but I expected basic cleanliness. Thank goodness we were only there for one night...

the room had a lot of dust. Our room was #3 which had the window on the side of the dump. We couldn't open the window to air the room because of the garbage smell. However, the place is very close to the airport. Reasonable place for a pre trip stay.

We needed somewhere to crash for an extended period of time before a flight. The staff here were very helpful when we arrived. We can not fault the guy on the phone and the lady on site for how good they were to us. The room was a lot more spacious than expected and it had the cricket test on the telly. The bed wasn’t amazing, but the room was cheap so we were not expecting the Ritz. We got lunch nearby at San Carlo, which was very close and tasty.

No staff members present at time of check in @ 20.30 despite having had that time accepted meaning we could not check in and had nowhere to stay the night before our departure from the country. Furthermore current guests that seemingly lived there told us that guests commonly stayed in rooms that were unlocked meaning anyone could just walk in and take whatever room they liked. Me and my partner felt very unsafe and where very disappointed with our stay. Honestly would give it 0 out of 10 and would recommend avoiding this guest house at all cost!

It wasn't bad, but also wasn't a great experience. Room was big, as expected but wasn't really clean. The TV only had free view. I was promised to get the sky card which will have sports and movies but that never happened during our 4 nights stay. Large kitchen with all the necessary things. No daily cleaning during stay. But enough parking within the building.

This stay did not meet a single expectation! After fighting with the intercom and the key lock boxes outside (as there was no reception) I was put in a different room that I booked, but a much more sub standard one yet paid the same price. Also paid for 8 days parking?!? For a one night stay? The room was shabby and unclean, with rubbish still in the bins, the toilet was not fixed to the floor, there was only one towel for two, the shower was a dribble, there were no proper tea and coffee facilities, although they advertise coffee pods drink making facilities, there was no mini bar, no room service, no onsite coffee house, they did however grace us with one milk sachet and opened coffee sachets and a menu so we can see what food we couldn't eat that evening, certainly no room service or breakfast as advertised, they advertise this as a relaxing get away with supplied slippers robes and sound-proof walls, however the traffic was heard throughout the night. On a plus side it was warm. Despite my confirmation Email stating check out was noon, we were knocked up early as the guy working there thought check out was 10am. He also tried to charge for parking despite my confirmation saying parking was included and advertised as free on some sites, the "Concierge" was very rude and unhelpful when I told him about my disappointment with the stay. Do not stay here.
