I have had my classic mini mot done in December 2024 one year after it had passed its mot at the queen road mot station.During the year following it passing its mot (and then being retested) my classic mini has been garaged and not driven until it was driven to get an mot I was shocked to say the least to find it had failed on emissions although the failure report stated that the emissions test had not been completed but also because of a worn ball joint which had not featured in the pass report of 2023 while the car had only been driven 2 miles. There was also reference to an exhaust leak. Following its failure to get through an mot my classic car was worked on for 6 months at a cost approaching £1000 without it getting a mot pass
